  1. 4/5Decent overall but I have some questions

Update - the developer is extremely responsive and will listen to your suggestions for future features. The app as it stands does its job well, but is missing a couple features. I look forward to the upcoming updates. If you are trying to track your apple health and wellness markers and diet in a spreadsheet, this app will make your life a lot easier. Overall it does help with my goals of tracking my health data. However, there are some things that apple health tracks that isn’t in this export app (resting energy, rem sleep mins, deep sleep mins, core sleep mins, rem sleep %, deep sleep %, core sleep %, sleep HR, and a couple others). Also, there isn’t an option to make the sleep analysis it does export be stored as minutes instead of hours. Also, there are several nutritional markers that you can export but idk how you input your diet into apple health. Is that through 3rd party apps that write data into apple health or is there an apple health diet tracker?

  2. 5/5UPDATE: Works like a charm

Updated review: App works exactly as described, it exports any data points from your iOS Health App into a data-processor friendly csv file that you can use however you like. As a bonus the files from bulk export are perfectly clean and ready for processing, no need to spend an hour cleaning up data. User friendly and intuitive interface. This is an updated review & rating because the app was crashing until I updated to the latest iOS. If you have any issues developer is extremely helpful and quick to reply to any questions. Don’t usually leave app reviews but the developer was super quick to help me with my issue and the app works perfectly as described. PS just read another review on here that says they couldn’t track their health data with this, this app is so you can take the raw data from the iOS health app and use it however you like. There’s a couple of websites that claim to do this for free but you’re really just giving your data away and putting your personal info at risk. This app on the other hand works with specific health app permissions only and saves you so much time while minimising privacy concerns. (People should read the app descriptions before leaving unfair reviews because this thing works like a charm)

  3. 5/5Read the instructions

I’ve been using this app for years to pull my Apple Watch data into Home Assistant. The developer was responsive to an issue I had and put out a quick fix. I contacted them using the form rather than screaming about a minor issue with a bad review. I don’t normally write reviews for apps but after reading the reviews here I felt that I had to. Most of the 1-3 star reviews are complaints about the app not doing something it never claimed to do, or being upset that the developer charges money for additional functionality. The entitlement is mind blowing. I’m not a fan of subscriptions but the dev also offers a reasonable one-time payment for an app with a small user base. It exports my health data every day using a webhook to sync to my Home Assistant instance. I can export to CSV. It allows me to take my health information out of the Apple ecosystem in the format that I choose and then analyze it in the way I want. It gives me both control and granularity over my data. The developer is responsive when contacted through the correct channels. Try the app for yourself. It has been a great purchase for me and if you’re willing to spend two minutes reading instructions, it will probably be a great purchase for you too.

  4. 1/5Terrible App!

This app must be a scam! How did it get by the folks at Apple to allow this piece of crap to be downloaded? First, this is NO “health” app! If you need something to keep track of your gym workouts, or how long you spent on the lake rowing, maybe this will work for you. But if you’re looking for an app that will actually help you track your HEALTH data, forget this! I wanted something to track my blood pressure, my glucose readings, insulin delivery and oxygen saturation ... you know, details about my health statistics that I could export into readable data. I haven’t even figured out what this thing does? After allowing Apple Health to give permission to this this wad of junk, it crashes every time I wish to view one category of my stored data! That’s before even trying to export it. And there is no menu offering instructions or how to use it, it’s all trial and error, and believe me, it’s chock full of errors. There should be an Apple policy for all these apps making you pay before you try, to provide at least a week’s trial period before discovering the thing doesn’t do what it says and you’re left with a non-functioning rip-off! Good luck to all those people who do not read this WARNING!

  5. 1/5Rather Dysfunctional App

This app is more of a frustration than a help in exporting health data. In trying to export blood pressure data, the app does NOT export the time of the reading, which is an exceedingly important piece of data. The app simply indicates that all readings occurred at 00:00:00. If you tinker with the export settings to get the time data, you get a warning that the export will take a long period of time. That’s primarily because the app develops a line of data for EVERY minute in your export range, regardless of whether there is any actual data for that particular minute. The app repeatedly created an export file for State of Mind, even though that selection was clearly NOT checked, and it inexplicably created an export file for Symptoms on only one of the many attempted exports, even though that selection was clearly NOT checked. In fact, I had never checked that selection. After wasting over 30 minutes trying to simply export 9 months of blood pressure data to no avail, I am deleting this app. Thankfully, the free 7-day trial convincingly displayed the shallow depth of this app’s capability.
