   Love using the app to buy tickets to our new Cinegrill theater, but we have a gift card balance that is less than the total of what our tickets costs. We can only buy tickets with one payment method. It would be nice to be able to use the gift card balance and make up the difference with our credit card. So we can’t use the gift card balance until we go to a concessions stand at a standard theater?

   Bought two adult tickets after putting my card information in. Shortly after confirming my purchase, I was met with a pop up stating the following, “Failed to create order”, claiming that my card information may have been wrong and to re-enter my card information. Like any regular human being, I did just that. And after being met with the same pop up, I decided to check my bank account. To my surprise, two payments of $25 went through. I went back to the app clicked the bottom right to see if my tickets were there, and they weren’t. I also was never sent an email of my tickets, despite putting my email. So now I am $50 poorer as a result of this app, with no tickets to show for it. Also, just to make this clear, I was made aware from a friend after the matter that you must login and make an account before purchasing. However, it was my first time ever using this app, I was never made aware of this by the app nor given any pop up directing me to make an account. I give this app 1/5. Glitchy, dishonest, and unreliable. P.S I also can’t even put in my card information now without being met with a never ending loading screen.

3. 1/5Payment glitchy, App buggy in general

   I’ve bought tickets and food through the app before and I’ve had no problem until today. I tried purchasing tickets and food today and it said something from my card was incorrect and it failed the purchase but I knew for for a fact that my card info was 100% right and me thinking it was just a bug in the app I re tried putting in my card many many times until I get a call from my bank telling me that all the times I tried to buy my tickets and it saying it failed and tried again, the transactions were actually going through to my account, thinking there was fraud being made in my account which honestly it definitely felt like it. No ticket/seat confirmation or anything. I even tried the website version on safari and the same thing was happening. Just money being robbed from me. More than 15 transactions. Imagine the money I lost from my purchase of 3 tickets and some food for the kids and I which we all know that movie food isn’t cheap at all these days. Me thinking I was just reloading the page and entering in my card information thinking maybe it was my wifi that was making it slow. But I feel reassured now after reading some of the recent reviews that my situation isn’t happening to just me and thought that my phone or card was the problem. Ill be buying my tickets in person and just pray that there’s enough seats available the next day for my kids and hope that they’re not sold out. Unbelievable. Deleted app.

4. 1/5Almost Joined but…

   I just downloaded the app and deleted it before I completed it because it kept asking for a rewards number not knowing they meant credit card. Well, I don’t want to use my credit card. I want to use Apple Pay or even pay at the theater in cash. I use movie apps to see what movies are out and what they’re about and if I’m interested. Only after I decide to purchase tickets do I want to add a credit card number, especially with all the hacks out there. Also. I may not want to use just one credit card. I sometimes go directly to the theater and pay in cash. However, Apple Pay makes everything a lot quicker and easier.

5. 4/5Seats sold not not actually sold

   The app almost every time will say the seats that I selected are sold out after I select them and try to advance to the payment screen. Then I have to go back to the seat selection screen and they are not actually sold and I can select the same seats and try to advance to the payment screen. Sometimes on the second attempt it works or sometimes it repeats and sometimes on the third attempt it will block out the seats as sold and I have to wait approximately 10 minutes to have them become available again and try it a third time and it finally allows me to complete my purchase.
