This app is probably one of the best apps I’ve EVER downloaded!!! Hands have always been so hard for me, for years I’ve struggled with them, until I found this app. Being able to to pose the hands however I want at whatever angle I want has proven to be beyond useful, I’m finally able to grasp the hand anatomy the more I study these models!! I honestly don’t know what I’d do without this app, I didn’t realize how much I use it until I opened my app recently and was told I’ve opened it 100 times! (I thought the message was so cute!). Not only hands, but the head models I can pose have saved me. Being able to adjust the lighting allowed me to better understand how to shade my characters faces! Overall I am so utterly grateful for this apps existence!!!! To all artists out there, if you don’t have this app yet - get it!! You won’t regret it!

5/5Literally the best art reference app I’ve ever seen
Art is something that truly helps me out in life, but recently, I had been struggling to find the drive to finish anything I started. This singlehandedly fixed that. If you have any interest in drawing humans, I suggest you get this app immediately. The only issue I can think of is that it’s pretty intensive on your battery, but as long as you can charge your device while using it, that won’t even be an problem. Beyond that, everything is near flawless. All of the features are virtual lifesavers when it comes to specific references and even just general understanding of your subject. The interface is intuitive and responsive, all of the menus are easy to navigate, and the developer support is great, too. Easiest five star rating I’ve ever had the pleasure of giving.

5/5Great for artists
This app has been so helpful. Not only does it help with anatomy but it also helps with lighting. It’s great for reference and it’s come to a point where I cannot live without this app. Although the app is perfect in my opinion, I do believe there should be new things added. I think it would be great to add even more light sources and to be able to position them on a xyz plane. And most importantly, it would be amazing to if there would be full body models that we can position. I would happily pay for these features. Other than that, this app is amazing. It’s definitely worth the money.

5/5Wonderful app!
I was introduced this app by my partner and have used it for just about every drawing since then. I haven’t seen anything even come close to the level of customization this app has, definitely my all time favorite reference tool! My only complaint would be with posing, I had an issue today manipulating a skull on top of the mannequin head where I couldn’t anchor the skull down to be center aligned. This is really a small issue in the grand scheme of things and it definitely wont revoke any points from my rating though!

4/5Amazing app. Wish it had an undo button
First off, Thank you so much for making this app. It’s like a Swiss Army knife for artists. Only issue I really have is the lack of an UNDO button? There were so many times when I accidentally swiped the screen or used the wrong node (especially with 3 hands), or realized I made a mistake and cannot figure out how to get back to where I was. I am using the save function, but there are still moments in between and lot of retreading. Also, the support form on your website seems to be broken. I tried submitting got back a formspree error message: ‘make sure your form has method=“POST” attribute’

YIKES! Well, we really apologize for that last update that was causing Handy to crash on launch for a lot of you folks. Despite our rigorous testing, we're still trying to diagnose and figure out what exactly is going wrong there and reproduce it on our end. In the meantime we are reverting Handy back to the previous 5.0.7 version (Apple still makes us call it something new, so it's technically 5.1.1 yada yada). Anyways, very sorry about that. If YOU encountered the crashing, and want to help us diagnose and figure out what might be going on via some TestFlight beta testing, PLEASE reach out to us at [email protected]!
