  1. 5/5Great overall health app

As the title says it’s a great all in one app to keep track of your health. I personally like having all the information in one place. I mostly use the workout tracker and calorie tracker. Both have worked nicely. I especially like that I can take a picture of my plate and it can tell me calories. It’s not super accurate but definitely better than nothing and helps when I’m on the go. I also like seeing how well I’ve recovered. In my experience so far it’s pretty accurate and I take its recommendations for my workouts seriously. Overall well worth the money imo especially if you’re trying to get a better understanding of your health.

Hammr 2.0 is here! We've made sweeping changes to Hammr Fitness that we know you will love. The full list of changes can be found below. Hammr Coach is Live! Hammr Coach is a fully integrated AI assistant that knows what you ate, when you worked out, and how much sleep you got. Ask Hammr Coach to evaluate your health, suggest a meal to meet your macros, or create a new workout. Expect the coach to improve as we continue to work on it's capabilities. Hammr Intelligence has been improved. In the previous version, Hammr Intelligence was limited. We've expanded and improved the capability significantly since the last release. Photo to Macros logic has been improved and optimized. Requests should now feel faster and more accurate. New readiness scores (We will get to this later), adaptive workouts and macros when enabled, and daily insights have been added. A new Describe feature has also been added so you can type or say what you ate and log macros easier. Apple Watch Overhaul The watch app has been completely overhauled. Now users can log their workouts in full sync with their phone. In addition to logging workouts, users can now see their readiness scores and macros from their watch. The macros screen also has the ability to log water or use the describe feature to log macros right from your watch. Changes to the watch app were very extensive and we are still working on stability. We think you'll enjoy the current app, but we're working hard to provide an even better experience as Hammr Fitness grows. New Readiness Scores Readiness scores have been added and are completely free to access. Each day users will get a readiness, strain, recovery, and sleep score that they can see on their app or watch. Insights into these scores with full breakdowns of how it was calculated are available for premium users. Social Features Users can now create their own profile, add friends, upload a picture of themselves for others to see, and invite their friends to compete in challenges. Expect more updates to this in the future! UI Overhaul The previous app was functional but it needed some plastic surgery. We've made huge efforts to improve animations, onboarding, login, loading screens, and making Hammr Fitness a more enjoyable experience for everyone. Workout Changes The workout tracker has undergone a massive transformation as well. Live activity and Dynamic Island stability were improved and the live HR tracker that displays has been improved massively. RPE has been added to the tracker and can be enabled in the user's settings. You can now toggle a set to mark it as a drop set, failure set, or warmup. LBS and KG conversions have been improved. Plate math has been added to barbell exercises. You can now create folders for workouts and move your workouts to different folders. Users can also share their workouts to ask for routine advice. Custom exercises have been added so if you can't find an exercise, you can create it in Hammr Fitness. We hope you like the changes and we will continue to work hard to bring you new features. Settings Some small changes have been made to comply with various regulations globally. This includes approval of privacy policy and terms before account creation. Data export has also been implemented in the settings.

What's New? We've made huge changes to the nutrition tracking to make it easier than ever to track exactly what you're eating. All new features are completely free for all users. USDA and OFF Database Integration With the help of the USDA and Open Food Facts, we can now provide data on millions of different products. You'll be able to get detailed conversions, a full list of ingredients, and new health scores for each product. You can learn more about how we're using these integrations below. Food Health Scores There's several apps that have come to market recently that help users understand how healthy a product is and what are the risks associated with the product. We've come up with a research backed formula to give you all new Health Scores for any food that you scan with a barcode or search through the product lookup tool. Our formula focuses on sources of inflammation, and each product will receive a score of 0-100. This is intended to help you identify different ingredients, where foods are sourced, and understand what you are putting in your body. You'll be able to see an average score of your scanned/searched foods on the nutrition dashboard under Analytics. Expanded Food Search When you go to log a food, the search will now scan across millions of different products rather than just the standard 350 products that come with Hammr Fitness. Each of these products will have in depth analysis on the health score given, a wide variety of measurements to help you measure what you eat accurately, and pictures if available to help you identify if you're choosing the right product. The barcode scanner also uses the same combined database, so you can scan products for the most accurate results. Upgraded Barcode Scanner In addition to the expanded food search, we've made several UI improvements to the Barcode Scanner. This is now a much smoother experience. We've done extensive testing to ensure measurements are accurate. Part of this process is cross referencing both databases when available to make sure we are providing the most accurate nutritional information. We want everyone to have the tools they need to be healthy, so this is entirely free. It would not be possible without the USDA and Open Food Facts. Thank you to both for providing the information that powers our food search. New User Onboarding For new users, they will now see a getting started card with a series of tasks to complete for the first time. Hammr Fitness is a huge app, and it can be easy to feel overwhelmed at first. This is intended to help new users get familiar with the app and understand all of the features. Heart Rate Tracking Completed workouts now have your heart rate charted out over the span of the entire workout. This also includes heart rate zones and the time spent in that zone. This is a small quality of life update. Bug Fixes We noticed that workouts were writing twice to Apple Health. Once from the user's watch and once from the device itself. We've added measures to ensure that both of these events are combined and logged as one.

Hammr 2.6 is our most powerful and comprehensive update yet! This update transforms your device into the most capable personal health coach on the market! Hammr Intelligence and Comprehension Overhaul Over the last few months, we've slowly rolled out pieces of this overhaul. This update bridges the gap and unifies the different intelligence pieces into a single daily message. - Readiness, Stress, and Sleep Scores stay more consistent. We've added messaging across the app so you can actually understand the changes your Hammr Coach makes. - There could be 2-3 different formulas that were supposed to tell you the same thing. We've combined them so you won't see different scores in different parts of the app. - We've audited the scientific accuracy of each component, and made slight tweaks to ensure you're getting the best advice Hammr Coach can provide. - Daily check-in was added for further Readiness score accuracy and refinement. Workout Scheduling Adjustments - Workout Scheduling now adapts to you, not just when you train. - Hammr Coach will give smart suggestions that could include taking a rest day, swapping a Push Day for a Pull Day, or increasing the volume when your body is ready for it. - Corrected an issue where Hammr Fitness would crash when ending a workout routine. UI/UX Updates - Readiness, Stress, and Recovery have gotten significant overhauls to the design of these tabs. This will allow you to see and understand more of your data. - Weight Chart now shows a normalized trend line to help you understand your true weight instead of fluctuations in water weight. - Daily Coach Insights on the Home Screen have been updated to match theming in the rest of the app. - PR's have a more celebratory feel to them. - Apple Health and Oura Ring dashboards have received slight tweaks to the design of these systems. - Contrast on Light and Terra themes has been revamped - New Home Screen Nutrition Updates - Barcode Scanning received an upgrade in how scores are calculated. Hammr Fitness has officially gone global! The app has been translated into 27 new languages! This allows everyone across the world to enjoy Hammr Fitness and all of its features. It feels like every time we release an update, it's labeled as the biggest yet. But this time we aren't kidding. This update is absolutely massive, so thank you so much for all of your patience. We took all your feedback and tried to put as much of it into this update as possible. Notifications We've completely overhauled them to be more personalized and for the past few days have tested to make sure that they seem correct. Again, this is a pretty quick update with a lot of content, so a full validation would be impossible. But so far it seems to be going well. Widgets & Hey Siri This represents a massive shift in the app and its integration with iOS. Siri commands have been added, and they are extensive. You can see the full list of commands in the settings via the drop down arrow. Outside of the language translations, we think this will make the most impact on day to day tracking. You can chat with your Hammr Coach via Siri, log meals using Siri commands, and get instant feedback even when offline about your readiness, recovery, sleep, and stress scores. In addition to this, we added a ton of widgets that you can now put on your Home Screen. This includes vitals, your 4 rings, macros, your workout for the day, or your water tracker where you can actually log water from your widget. In addition to the Home Screen widgets, other various widgets have been added on the Apple Watch to give you even more power to customize your iOS software. Home Screen Refresh and Revamped Colors Some users love the neon, some users hate it. So now we're giving you the option to choose the one you like! You can find this in the settings. Speaking of colors, you can now choose between 4 different App Icons for your Home Screen. These will automatically change based on your theme, but you can select a specific logo if you prefer it. Hammr Coach Upgrades This feature hadn't been updated since February, so we wanted to put some extra attention on this with the new Siri integration. You'll now see a live counter at the top of the page with your usage and when it resets. The UI was redone to fit the overall UI refresh of the rest of the app. You'll notice a massive improvement in the accuracy and helpfulness of Hammr Coach. Text to Macros Update Speaking of AI powered features, Text to Macros also got a big update to its accuracy and UI. We won't go over all of the details here, but just know that this was a big point of emphasis for this new update. It can be used across Siri, Apple Watch, or in the app, so we had to make sure that it's actually giving fast responses and accurate answers. There was a lot of testing done to make sure that it's gotten the time and attention it deserves. Larger Analytics Overhaul Continuing the trend with UI updates, Analytics is actually useful now. You now have a dedicated weight dashboard that will serve as the home of your weight progress tracking. Nutrition and Workouts also got massive updates to their dashboards and are now a place you'll actually want to visit. Apple Health Syncing You can now bring your data over from other apps via Apple Health sync. Your weight history will populate, you'll see different workouts from apple health in the app, and nutrition will also import your apple health nutrition history. The same attention was put into the Apple Health write capabilities to make your entire experience better. Offline Support You can now use the app completely offline. Workouts, Nutrition, Readiness, it all can now work offline. A major step that actually took a lot of reworking. Bug Fixes Readiness Score of 25 HR not Syncing Right Away Unable to add friends or delete account Food Search was searching before hitting enter Recent foods didn't work Water Tracker crashed the app Watch Timer Reliability Improved

We pushed really hard to get this update out as quick as possible. There were lots of bug fixes and new features added in this release. We'll go over all the changes below. Bugs • Preset workout programs were writing bad data to user profiles after workouts, locking the account. This was a bug from the translations that were added in 2.7. The new update will fix this for any affected accounts and prevent this issue in the future. • BMI was incorrect for Metric users. The graph was correct if you clicked into the BMI, but the main card on analytics was wrong. This was corrected. • Hammr Coach was not as effective as intended. We'll go over broader updates to Hammr Coach but this is dedicated to the bugs. The chat feature only had about a 70% success rate for users, and the retry button wasn't clear or helpful. On top of this, failed attempts were reducing weekly limits. With this update, everyone will receive a one time usage reset to their limits because of this. We'll continue to monitor performance to ensure that Hammr Coach is reliable and giving accurate answers. Preset Programs • The preset program page was overhauled with a new look. This includes a major expansion in the availability of the preset programs available to users. • Some preset programs will now include strength training and outdoor tracking. This is experimental and we wanted to test this more but the bugs are critical. So just know this may not be 100% yet. Hammr Coach Updates • Hammr Coach was not using actual exercises when creating its programs. It now uses the exercises already wired into the app when creating plans for you. • In addition to this, we're giving Hammr Coach the ability to edit existing workouts. So you can switch out specific days if you want to just do dumbbells for example. Or if you want to switch out specific exercises you can with Hammr Coach. • Widget Accuracy Improvements • Some Home Screen widgets aren't matching what you see in the app or through Hey Siri. We didn't have time to completely resolve these issues but will continue to work on the reliability. • Apple Watch Gestures • Again not fully tested but it will ship as a preliminary feature of this update, Apple Watch gestures were added. You can now double your fingers and thumb together to log your set, skip rest timers, or pause your outdoor activities Share Cards for your Rings • This was being worked on before the urgent bugs and will improve in the next update. The plan is to gradually improve share cards for everything in the app over the next few updates. More to come on this in the future. • Subscription Price Changes We've gotten a lot of feedback that the pricing was too high for the app. It's rapidly changing and improving, but it's not as established as competitors. Because of this, we're dropping the price by about ~50% for premium subscriptions until the app is in a more stable state.

Hammr Fitness 2.8.1 brings all new Watch UI to the app and a several bug fixes. Here's everything you need to know about what's changed. New look for Apple Watch users! A major overhaul was done to the Hammr Fitness watch app. You now have a cleaner Home Screen with dedicated insight pages for Readiness, Recovery, Sleep, Stress, and Body Battery. The Nutrition page was overhauled to be more scannable and just overall looks cleaner than before. We also split up the Strength page from the Outdoor tracking page, so now there's 4 distinct tabs. The watch connection and reliability has been improved in this update. You'll notice more reliable HR connections, less instances where the watch app will go to the home page on it's own, and better syncing for things like logged foods in the app. When in the workout tracker, you can tap your fingers together to log a set. Watch users will also sometimes get RPE suggestions when the watch app thinks there's a high confidence in the RPE you just did. Widget Fixes The last update broke Hey Siri app intents in the main app. We're still looking for a way to add Hey Siri to the watch app, but you'll be able to enjoy this again on your phone. The vitals widget was broken, so that was fixed and now correctly shows vitals again. Background sync was improved for watch widgets. And Command Center widgets work now. Translations There were several parts of the app that weren't translated. We're still working on finding more instances where the app isn't translated, but overall the coverage got better in this update. Bug Fixes Autofill was not working as intended for workouts tracked in the app. Users could not save a gym profile. Some users were having trouble with searching for foods. Duplicate local foods were being shown for food searches. Photo to Macros got more accurate. Photo to Macros and Text to Macros now save one relevant food instead of a variety if ingredients. This makes it easier when re-logging from recent foods. Calorie bank was not emptying on it's own. Stress graph was too broken looking. Make the graph smoother and will not fill in gaps in data (if less than 6 hours). Manual sleep logging was inaccurate. Thanks for using Hammr Fitness. Please report any problems or feature suggestions to our support email, or contact us on social media.
