1. 1/5Overpriced, doesn’t work and dirty machines.

   2 dollars to wash half a load of laundry and 2 dollars to dry. Machines are too small to fit a normal load. Half the time when you are drying your clothes they come out damp, even if you load it small. Now that 2 dollars to dry, turns into 4 dollars. The box machines in the left corner. Only 1 out of 4 works. There have been multiple times when I take my clothes out of the drier and they smell like urine. Also people leave there stuff in there half the time so you need to remove other peoples stuff in order to dry your clothes. If the service and quality is going to be this bad, at least drop the price for us.. come on guys. I’ve been looking into buying my own washer/dryer setup so I don’t have to deal with this.

2. 4/5Laundry Machines

   I’m giving a 4 star review only because the dryer has broke down a couple times while I have lived here.. the first time it was down for 3 days and the 2nd time it was down for a day. The washer cleans clothes thoroughly and the dryer dries a full load within the 56 minutes that’s allowed for the total of $4 you have to pay for each load. I like the fact that I don’t have to use quarters for the machines and that I use an app to load money for the use of the machine and the app also tells me when the washer/dryer has completed it’s cycle. Over all… good app.. decent machines… just wish they were a little bigger in size.

3. 2/5Misleading UI and poor performance

   This app has some of the worst user interface I have ever seen. You must add a minimum of $10 to your balance every time you load up. When you start a dryer load, it prompts you with “add 7 more minutes for .25?” With the selectable options “cancel” or “ok.” It is deliberately misleading. I can’t help but think of all the older folks who are forced into using this dumb app after paying in quarters for a lifetime. The amount of time I waste with this slow app makes me miss my old quarter op machines. This app has removed my agency to do my own laundry. Why are we deliberately making a simple machine more difficult to use? It’s disingenuous and insulting.

4. 5/5Accepting Change or Nothing Changes..

   When the management of our apartments changed our washers and dryers from quarter machines, to technology with an app, I panicked• No one asked us, yet times will change with or without us, right? I had other pressing issues though! First, I had $50 in quarters saved up for the fall, what am I supposed to do with them? Two, I’m trying to keep up with my cell phone technology changing, every 18 months and now this?! My real solution was to reach out to another neighbor, who was older than me. One who had already went through this Laundry Room crisis! My intuition told me, if she’s now 75 and knows how to work that machine, I bet she’ll teach me; It Worked! My solution was having some humility and now, I can afford my laundry at home; rather than a laundromat! Only problem I ever have is when my phone cannot connect and that’s a signal issue with my phone. Learned that from my senior neighbor too!! We Thing!

5. 1/5Always Having Issues

   When I first moved into my apartment complex the machines would deduct from my card and not work. When I called I was given credits which is fine, but the machines are always having problems. I tried to start a power wash earlier today and the machine wouldn’t do it. Also when I called customer service to ask about the buttons on their machine they gave me the wrong information and all of my clothes shrunk to the point I couldn’t wear them anymore. I was NOT happy and ended up having to buy all new clothes. Customer service didn’t even bother to respond when I told them this. The app has connectivity issues and wouldn’t let me use my balance, so I had to go to the card reader at my complex to add more funds. I put in a complaint about the machines months ago.
