"body": "We discovered a couple days into our hiking trip that the GUIBO app incorporates live GPS and altitude tracking without the need of mobile data, which allowed us to stay on our route and to plan rest/snack/water/meal breaks to better tackle the terrain while also providing a better gauge to know if we had to pick up our pace to reach our next hotel in time or if we could stop a bit to take photos. Snapping still shots of each day’s hike description data will also provide lasting memories from what we accomplished on our multi-day holiday!",

"body": "As a traveler, it’s great to have a verbal description of each day and as much information as the agency will put in. The mapping is super helpful to stay on track. From a tech standpoint, it has some challenges on iPhone and the support messaging function doesn’t work. The app is unstable and has to be force closed a few times a day. Also, real time location works on the map, but not on the elevation tab. So I can approximate where I am, but can’t determine exactly how far I have to go and how much elevation remains.",

"body": "I used this on a recent cycling trip in the UK. The company provides the routes and trip information through the app, with no paper maps to use if the app failed or smartphone had issues. The routes were generally good, but the turn warnings were not frequent, and there was no warning that you were off-course. This app pales in comparison to apps like Ride With GPS, and I would not choose it to be a sole source of information on a self-guided trip.",
