1. 4/5Pleased overall; a few caveats

   Only the Word of God is inspired. Commentaries are not. As an older Christian who has read and taught the Bible for many years, I can say there is much good to glean from this resource. It adheres to the fundamentals (that’s foundational basics to friends who think “fundamentals” is a bad word), but there are areas where I disagree (such as Bible translations; I choose the KJV above all others, the writer(a) does/not...things that are different are not the same). That said, a) I “eat the meat, and spit out the bones”; b) I skip reviews from hobbyhorse atheists and liberals who are trying to sell unbelief, not because of any hard refutation, but because “unbelief” is a religion all its own - Bible Christianity is not a “religion” (man-made), but a RELATIONSHIP. Skeptics will never grasp this (see 1 Corinthians 2:14); and finally, c) a person needs to get saved - have a genuine conversion experience - in order to “rightly divide the Word of truth.” Test a teacher’s assertions in light of the Scripture. What might seem “arrogant” from a teacher may simply be a weariness of bad doctrine (the modern tongues movement; “repenting” of ALL your sin - which in truth is a product of progressive sanctification, NOT justification). A lot to chew on...but this resource is worth a go.

2. 3/5Definitely Protestant

   First of all, this app and organization served as a great resource for me in a difficult time of life. I am forever grateful for the work done to provide this resource. That being said, as I have dug deeper into theology and understand more nuances of different denominations, I find the material here to be very critical of Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy. I believe if the authors of this critical content sat down and had conversations with priests and other leaders of these branches, perhaps they would be more understanding. The church and clergy have roles for reasons. Let’s not forget, after Jesus rose again, He spent time telling the apostles what to do and what was expected. Like it or not, the Orthodox faith has kept this standard the whole time. For that alone, I feel like the authors could be a bit more respectful. That being said, I personally believe the C.S. Lewis approach is best for the general public,meaning Christ first, debate later. If you are struggling and searching in your walk, please use this resource and continue to read your Bible and question everything. Christ is the way. Once you have accepted and believe Christ is Lord, only then is it acceptable to debate theology. I love all my brothers and sisters in Christ. I am also searching in my walk. Keep the faith, fight the good fight, and maybe see what your local Orthodox Church is all about ;) *I was raised non-denominational and currently converting to Orthodoxy.*

   Well organized, so many questions and answers people have already asked, you'll find yourself wanting to check out more and more topics of things you've thought about in the past, forgot, but seeing all the different questions others have already asked, you'll easily find answers that spark your curiosity to check out more! The answers are put together by a team of people that have done, and continue to research and find information and their references to share with people who are curious and want answers in an easy to understand way. Do they say they know it all ? No, but this team of people are really trying to do their best and I feel they are seeking guidance from God for wisdom in how they come up with answers. After All they are accountable before God to not lead anyone astray. They are doing a great job and if you have something they don't know, that's ok, pray about it and ask God to give you wisdom and seek God above all anyway, this is a good basic beginning place to get some basic questions and answers.

4. 5/5A Treasure Trove Of Biblical Knowledge

   I've been using this app for many many years now as a resource tool. There are so many great issues and topics that are covered in this app. Due to this app I have a more profound knowledge of many different topical issues that are too many to list. It has helped me a lot in my walk with Christ. Ultimately, this app is a resource and should only be used as a resource. It should never replace reading the bible or attending a church. This app has been nothing short of a blessing for me and my prayer is that it would do the same for you. My only issue with this app is that because of the recent update, I have to start over from the main menu instead of being able to remain on the topic menu where I found my question. Fixing this would be lovely. Thank you, GotQuestions Ministry.

   i wanted to get this app to get some answers and to see why it’s about. i cried. i actually cried. i got to the Catholic section and my heart shattered. the first thing i see is “is Catholicism a false religion?” i clicked on it just to see and i found the entire page talking about how terrible the branch of Christianity is. an excerpt from the passage states “If a person believes what the Catholic Church officially teaches, he/she will not be saved.” i can provide evidence. the author goes on with many different pages spreading completely opinionated lies about what Catholics believe in. the way the author uses their sources is like this: definition from the Catechism etc. then “based on this” and shares a biased answer. In all 129 pages there are multiple incorrect statements that a practicing Catholic can defend. Easily. The author has a little spot where they say they got their Catholic responses from only former Catholics. Also, i am going to use my prob/stat and scientific method knowledge to say this: These statics are biased and there is no way around that. i would be seriously more than happy to help and provide correct, unbiased statements.
