  1. 5/5Convenient and accurate

This app is convenient because I always have my phone on me. I can never find a Goniometer lying around.

  2. 5/5Sleek, accurate and overall a great app!

This goniometer app is different from everything else that’s out there. It is incredibly easy to take quick measurements of lower and upper body range of motion. The visual guides make it easy to know what and how to measure correctly. I love the styling and theming of the app, it makes it easy to capture the ROM angles and know what I’m looking at. The developer clearly understands human factors in a healthcare setting and translates that beautifully into a usable app. The text-to-speech readings are also very helpful when your hands are tied up. Try this app!

  • 1.0
  • 1.0.1

    • PDF report export — share a clean, paginated assessment report alongside CSV • Quick Angle: measure any non-body angle — wheelchairs, splints, ramps, seating • Level tool: check that footplates, seats, and trays sit even • Pro now includes unlimited patient profiles • Polish and reliability improvements

  • 1.0.2

    • New cervical spine movements: flexion, extension, lateral flexion, and rotation — measure neck range of motion • New wrist radial and ulnar deviation • Redesigned, clearer animated placement guides for every movement • Polish and reliability improvements

  • 1.1

    • Hand & finger ROM: measure every finger and thumb joint — MCP, PIP, DIP (and thumb MCP/IP), flexion and extension. 33 movements total • Total Active Motion (TAM): composite finger ROM computed automatically in Saved Assessments (Pro) • Side-to-side comparison: each side as a percentage of the contralateral limb (Pro) • Polish and reliability improvements

  • 1.2

    • All-new anatomical placement diagrams — every movement redrawn with clearer limbs, placement, and motion • Clearer placement instructions and tips on every movement • Hands-free auto-lock can now be switched on right from the measurement screen (Pro) • Clearer movement count: every flexion and extension is now counted individually — 47 movements, same full coverage • Try Pro free: export one full patient report to see the complete PDF before you upgrade • Polish and reliability improvements

  • 1.3

    • Progress trend charts: every patient's recovery graphed visit to visit (Pro) • PDF reports now include progress charts and your clinic's letterhead (Pro) • Free: export any profile as a watermarked PDF or CSV — no limits • Add, edit, or delete individual readings on any profile — including past dates • Face ID lock for saved profiles is now free for everyone • Polish and reliability improvements

  • 1.4

    • Try Pro free for 7 days — no credit card, no automatic charge; the trial simply ends • Goal tracking: set a target angle per movement and see it on trend charts and PDF reports (Pro) • Tag any reading as active or passive (AROM/PROM) — free • Onboarding now tailors the app to you: clinician, student, or recovering at home • New installs include a deletable example patient — explore trend charts, summaries, and reports instantly • Polish and reliability improvements

  • 1.4.1

    • Measurement fix: zeroing from an inverted start could fold the angle past 180° on shoulder, elbow, and hip flexion — corrected, and all 47 movements re-audited • Hardened on-device data protection in rare launch states — profiles stay encrypted on this iPhone; the app remains fully offline and collects no data • The spoken angle now follows the app's language • New "Rate on the App Store" link in Settings → About, plus small fixes and polish

  • 1.4.2

    • Fixed: after upgrading to Pro during the free trial, the trial countdown banner could still appear on the Home screen until the trial ended

  • 1.5.0

    • Compare both sides: from any locked reading, measure the opposite side and see left and right together • Home is reorganized around what you do most, with a card to continue a profile you haven't finished • The 47 movements now have their own searchable screen, with your recent movements one tap away • Patient Profiles: swipe to edit or delete, sort by most recent or label, and search once you have a few • Profile labels can now be up to 12 characters and accept numbers, spaces, and hyphens — "PT 3B" or "JD-KNEE" • Cervical flexion and extension now record one reading instead of left and right, since they have no sides. Readings you already saved are kept • Polish, accessibility, and reliability improvements

  • 1.5.1 · 2 Aug 2026

    • Clearer Pro PDF reports — the assessment table now reads left-to-right consistently, with a clearer range-of-motion column heading • Polish and reliability improvements

  • 1.6.0

    • Your free Pro trial is now paced by how much you use the app instead of a 7-day countdown — take your time exploring every Pro feature as you save your first readings • Readings, goals, trends, and PDF reports now consistently use "ROM" (range of motion) for clearer, more familiar clinical wording • Polish, accessibility, and reliability improvements
