You’ll actually get alerts for group invites, posts, DMs, shares, follows, challenge updates, and direct responses. - Direct Responses leveled up. New dedicated recording screen, plus a clean hub to see every response in one place. - Groups finally act like… real groups. Invites must be accepted, approvals actually work, and you can find all your invites from Groups, your Profile, or Notifications. - Public Profiles got a makeover. Like, share, save, and control audio without the jank. - Sharing flows cleaned up everywhere. Smooth as butter. - Group deletion works again. RIP old groups. - Audio playback won’t restart while scrolling. Your thumbs are safe. - Trending content removed from Home. Your feed is now a private blank canvas—empty until you fill it with voices you follow, messages you receive, and moments you choose. Search Deep with Full Transcripts: Finding that specific moment just got a whole lot easier. Our search engine now scans the entire audio transcript rather than just the file description. If it was said in a Gist, you can find it. Bug Fixes & Improvements: Smoother Playback: Fixed an issue where audio would occasionally keep playing during a new recording session. You can now send Direct Messages to keep the conversation going one-on-one, and dive into beautifully organized conversation threads so you never lose track of a chat. Respond Directly to Gists Hear a Gist that moved you, made you laugh, or sparked a thought? You can now reply directly to specific Gists, turning individual stories into interactive dialogues. Better Group Engagement We’ve leveled up Groups! Enjoy new and improved ways to interact with your private circles, making your group spaces feel more lively and connected. Smarter Notifications Never miss a beat (or a voice). We’ve polished our notification system so you get alerted to the moments that actually matter to you—like when someone replies to your thread. Enhanced Social Sharing Heard a Gist too good to keep inside the app? Our updated sharing options make it beautifully simple to share Gists out to your other favorite social platforms.
