The app needs some more work to function smoothly. It’s basically a browser extension rather than an actual app. My main problem with this is that when you add something to your list it often appears as “name not found” with no picture and monetary value on the listing. If you’re going about this like I am, you’re just adding items one after the other. So when I find my list filled with “name not found” it’s disappointing. It’s not reliable at all.

I love the app gift hero, but in the ups and downs, I would give a down for some reasons. I will state my opinions POLITELY, in a way to show that I really care and I am not trying to be mean in any sort of way to hurt you here are some reasons why: 1. you have to go to their browser in order to add gifts to your wishlist and you can’t do it on the app. Like what’s the point of having an app for it if you can only do it on the browser? 2. if you go on the browser, you have to log in every 10 minutes and whenever you enter, you have to log in to your account and you can’t just be in your account like you were before logged in I know, I am not trying to be mean, but I saw some other complaints about what some of what I mentioned. I think that they use to have you do it on the app, not the browser but now they make you do it in the browser, and even worse, you have to keep on logging in whenever you enter the website. I can’t see any update being like that!! It’s more of an outdated version of an app that’s no longer there If you have time, please read this and improve the app so it can be better again!! I would do anything if you would try your best to take the time to spend time working on making this app a better app like the way it use to be!!:) thank you for understanding!!!:)

5/5Easily save items to wishlists while browsing on your phone!
This app does exactly what it is supposed to, and is required to save items from Safari on iPhones since you must have an app to “share” websites with anything other than what Apple provides by default. Another quirk of Safari is that the GiftHero app will only show as a share option for new Safari windows created after this app is installed. So for anyone that thinks the app doesn’t do anything, follow the instructions in the app with a *new* browser window. Then you’ll see the app does its job very well!

What a colossal waste of time to use the desktop site, add gifts, and then install the app only to find that you are told to use the desktop site! Hello, Christmas is coming, which means people want to access their lists while shopping in the mall! Being able to quickly click on the app and see your list per person is what people need. I wish I could find a FREE app that my family and extended family can install that lets us make our wish lists with links, make them private or public, track price, status of purchase, shipping. I seem to find an app that does SOME but not ALL of that. What a pain. I was sold on this until I opened the app.

I wanted to download the app so I can keep that open, while searching for gifts on my safari app and easily add them to my list. This app doesn’t do anything. My expectations for what the functionality should be were already extremely low, and this couldn’t even meet those.
