5/5Great app for hunting morels
GeoForager is by far the best map app I’ve seen that combines a map feature with tracking fires, snowpack, rainfall, aspect ratio, roads, and more that can help you figure out where those elusive burn morels are hiding. No other app combines as many functions into one easy to use interface

5/5Geoforager is phenomenal
This year’s new updated geoforager app has everything you need to hunt and find morels. There’s more information than you can possibly even use in one outing, but the app is also useful for so much more. Weather buffs as well as general outdoor enthusiasts will love it and find it helpful in many ways. This year they even included recent clear cuts, which can also be very productive for disturbance morels

5/5Best Tool for Morels
Was completely new to morel picking before using this app. After using this and the webinars I found 35 pounds in my first season. Amazing support and education resources, it's worth every penny

5/5Secret Sauce
This app is amazing. The off-line maps is the best part. And the Morrell probability overlay is also quite clever. It’s easy to use right out of the box but if you really drill down and maybe catch a webinar or two it’s mind-boggling how much you can learn. Now, if you’re in Western Oregon absolutely DO NOT buy this app. That’s where I pick 😉

5/5The best foraging app out there!
Been using this app for over a year (paid version) and it’s well worth it. Nothing else gives you this kind of data, and the founder generously host informational sessions with insider tips. Update it regularly cause there’s always new features!

3.3
Major offline reliability update — built for the backcountry. • Offline maps reworked: downloaded maps now include the surrounding area, so you can zoom out without losing your basemap • Your tracks and location arrow stay visible when moving between signal and no-signal areas • The map stays on your current view when you lose connection instead of jumping away • Smarter downloads: shared map areas are stored once — faster and lighter on storage • Wildfire layers keep their correct order and no longer throw errors offline • Bug reports queue up offline and send automatically when you're back in range • Faster everywhere: eliminated repeated map redraws and the endless "Still Loading?" popup • Portrait mode locked; removed the accidental iOS "Shake to Undo" popup Happy hunting!

3.4
· 30 Jul 2026
This update brings a faster, more reliable map — especially when you're off the grid. Better offline maps • Rebuilt our mapping engine for smoother panning and zooming and cleaner map tiles, with fewer blank or glitchy areas. • More reliable switching between online and offline — the map, buttons, and basemaps keep working as you lose and regain signal. • Downloaded map areas behave more predictably: basemap changes, layer toggles, and map movement all work as expected. • Added a clear indicator when basemaps are switching. Capture anywhere, sync later • Create markers, tracks, and photos while offline — they're saved and upload automatically once you're back online. • Move and manage your markers even without a connection. Sign-in & account • Smoother sign-in with better recovery when your session expires or you're offline. • Your saved markers and tracks stay put across updates. Stability & polish • Fixed cases where the map could disappear when moving between screens. • The map now keeps your zoom and position when it reloads. • More accurate elevation labels. • More reliable bug reporting, plus many smaller fixes throughout.
