   It’s a fun app, and you can look at other people’s prompts to get a feel for effective phrasing. You can keep a big library of your creations as long as you’re still subscribed. You can upload a person or a drawing as a reference image! I used it for fantasy characters. There is some stuff I’d like to have known before purchasing, although I don’t regret purchasing. The nice clean examples they show are rare. You get about 99% deformed throwaways. Training models costs only 3 bucks, but it’s super easy to train it wrong and you pay 3 bucks for every edit. My model vanished and the FAQ and tutorial site isn’t very good. There’s some weird creepy glitches if you upload your drawing of a person. It renders extra belly buttons and weird lopsided eyes with extra pupils. Anatomy gets strange, especially musculature. I needed a character with tusks, and it has no clue what a tusk or fang is, so it turns them into other objects. There’s a ton of fantasy art, and tusks and fangs are fantasy staples, so that surprised me. It can’t do odd colored skin. It will make it human colored with strange blotches. It randomly turns characters into big-headed children. I wanted a character in Thai fisherman’s clothing, and the clothes looked GREAT, but it changed his race and turned the city background to a bunch of huts on fire lol. The pricing is weird. It’s 10 a week, and 20 a month. It would be nice to offer a yearly subscription.

2. 1/5Scam or Fraud

   I was a user of this app, and I very much enjoyed it. Then I got a message that said that my credit card, which had been in my account and other other apps, use it had a problem. All of a sudden you guys are telling me the numbers wrong. The security codes are wrong it’s out of date etc. none of which is true. I removed that credit card and added a different card. I tried to resubscribe only to be told that the credit card that I had just removed from my iPad and all of my devices is still no longer valid except that credit card is no longer listed. Apparently you guys don’t want my $20 a month and every other app that I use does. I don’t know if this is a scam or if this is fraud or if this is something else and it’s a mistake on my part. I just don’t understand why every other app is able to take money from my card and you guys can’t and why you guys are still using an old credit card that I had removed and not the new one that is now my default. I’m concerned enough I’m contacting Apple because something is not right in this whole thing and I have never had this happen with an Apple app before. I’ll find another AI app and I will use it. I would advise anyone else to do the same thing. Perhaps it’s the way you guys withdraw money from accounts but if it is you need to step up your game because I think you’re hovering close to some questionably moral behavior. I’m sure you have all of my information. You know doubt have my email address and can contact me directly like I said until I hear from you guys I’m just going on the assumption that something is very wrong here and it’s very wrong on your end..

3. 5/5Surpassed my expectations

   I was not expecting that much from this app, but I absolutely love it now! I’m not great at drawing, and I was looking for an AI app that could render me a photo of my DND character that I designed. It worked amazing! It perfectly captured the character in the background was ✨stunning✨. I then decided to use it for another character that I had designed myself but didn’t have the skills to draw. Normally, other apps I have used will always mess up on realistic portraits. There will be something weird or off about them or they just won’t understand the prompt. Not this app. The image looked like a real photo, and it was exactly as I had imagined. 10/10 would recommend!

4. 1/5Zero stars if i could

   Loved the app at first. very fun! But once i spent $20 to have the subscription i saw multiple generations of nudity, extremely scary images, and i am not even talking about the many photos that are would be considered "soft pornography". Very unpleased since the app clearly states it is PG and doesn't allow violence or nudity. I reached out to "help" and received a response after many days. Typical response, "we care", "here are our rules".... blah blah blah. They didn't address my concerns and had the gall to say finally that i can report it and it took multiple replies to say how to report. I was completely unheard. When you are generating your own photo the offensive images appear. Then they expect you to click on it to KEEP looking at it to report it? No. The user should be kicked off the app if their generated photos do not adhere to the rules the app puts out. Many email responses later, they STILL will not refund my money, never mentioning about my request for a refund. They cater to the offender but don't defend the rules or principles they put out! Very frustrated!!!

5. 1/5Pretty upset how they’re subscriptions work on Apple

   I made the mistake of thinking I can change my subscription through the official App but no, had to change it through my subscriptions on my phone and the one I wanted that was showing on the Gencraft App was not in the subscription list on apple so I just paid $10 for a product I won’t use and feel cheated that we aren’t even given the same option that was given in the Official App. Also there’s no way for a refund at all so just be careful and make sure you are checking on what your plan actually includes. I opted to go for another plan because most searches show up with the generically same female and i was unsatisfied with trying to get derivatives of diff females all for them to look the same. I also was trying to come up with another generated character and it was showing up blank the whole time for the 30 diff ways I tried inputting different characteristics for what I wanted. Very disappointed. $10 wasted for a broken app that isn’t great at all.
