4/5Love the interest rate but a few problems
5.25% is great so if you just use the banking service you're ok. But if you trade stocks you should know what to expect. Trades take awhile to be reflected in your transaction history but at least the balance updates right away. My biggest annoyance is that when you switch to another app and come back it often resets the fierce app (at least on iOS). Meaning if you had a trade set up and just wanted to check a chart one more time before confirming then you'll have to set up the trade all over again. And there aren't limit orders. It's all market prices (although collared to no more than 2.5% beyond the estimate given). No fees for stocks but crypto has a sizable fee. It is def a good bank to use as a backup to your regular broker since you earn good interest on your uninvested balance and can invest right away the full balance instead of having to wait for funds to post in excess of the maximum instant credit. Also you can pay bills from the cash the next day after selling a stock instead of having to wait to withdraw from a separate disconnected brokerage.

5/5Great app, great customer service! Trustworthy company.
I have used several other online banks. I have had issues with arbitrary freezes/holds/etc. These guys don’t play games with your money. This is paramount and very important as you cannot walk into a brick and mortar to get your money. It earns the 5.25% and the customer service is excellent. Daniel and Anna are fantastic. I keep a decent balance with them and never had any problem. Only suggestion: The statements should be polished up. There is a typo at the top right hand corner that caused a mortgage underwriter during a house purchase to believe the statement I provided was fake. The top right hand corner says “electrical on demand deposits” it should say “electronic”. I did mention this to them and hopefully we see this change in the next month or so. Also they need standard ACH manual entry for external accounts. Plaid is not compatible with all institutions but most. I use a credit union that Plaid doesn’t support. Otherwise I would not hesitate on depositing money here. I hope these guys really take off.

3/5New UI and Obnoxious Waste Of Screen Estate
The longer you use this, the more you wish you stuck to Fidelity where you have more features like a limit display to keep you from putting too much into Roth IRA or being able to show totals. I have been using Fierce for years now, and it was great. The UI was clean and easy to read. When I read about the new company transaction, I was excited that the useless 'cash management' tab was going to be replaced with something "useful". My two biggest gripes with the new GalaxyOne: Premium Yield advertising can never be hidden (and you must be accredited or meet a criteria), and while the new UI is organized I can assure with certainty that there is loads more wasted space as you are required to touch the app more for example to view more details like Unrealized Gain/Loss. Overall, this is not a welcome update as there really were no measurable improvements aside from getting rid of the useless cash management goals tracker.

3/5Great interest rate. Mediocre trading platform
Ok so this is basically a no frills money market type of account. The rate is great currently at 5.25%. The trading platform is very mediocre. For example my other portfolios show my increase in stock value for the day. If I buy stock it take into account the total stock purchase as an increase. So if I bought a stock yesterday at $100 and it’s now $105 I gained 5%. But if I buy another share at $105 that day for $210 total Fierce states my gains are 50%. Then it drops the next day. I can’t see an average share price for a stock I’ve bought. I can’t see my total return percentage on a stock. I can’t see historical returns. You basically buy stock, Fierce tells you the 52 week high and 52 week low and that’s it. Even some dividend type ETF’s don’t seem to have correct dividend yields displayed like every other platform. Fierce also doesn’t connect via plaid to other services. I mean Fierce is used to connect external accounts to Fierce but I can’t connect fierce via personal finance apps or connect Fierce via other banks because Fierce uses Plaid only for a one way connection into their platform but don’t allow data out. For interest as a cash holding account it seems great. For “checking” and stocks I wouldn’t bother unless something changes.

3/5Great App but lacking Dark Mode and Small bugs
The app itself is great and the layout is fantastic. The app has a great UI and it’s easy to find everything but it needs a dark mode amoled black option. I work a night shift and when I check my bank account, I hate getting flash banged by the bright white backgrounds. Lastly, even though the app is great, it does have lots of little bugs throughout the app. Some inconsistency in the UI and some areas of the app not using the 120hz refresh rate, and issues with stock charts not updating quickly. Also, I would recommend adding more info for the investing category. Giving better live trading charts that update in real time and adding a bit more info to stocks. Update: Still no Dark Mode support and the stocks pages are still delayed. They aren’t live charts like Robinhood or other brokerages
