Important Frienda Update: We’ve updated the app mechanics. Now you can send a friendship spark every day. ____ What’s new: • Introvertas can now send a friendship spark every day • Removed limits on friendship confirmations for all users • Added a required welcome message when sending a request • Extrovertas now have no limits on friendship sparks • Extrovertas can now see the social media profiles of all members • Improved the recommendation feed. It now prioritizes women of a similar age, recently active users, and new members ____ Why this matters: Frienda is designed to lead to real conversations and real-life meetups. We focus on quality of connection, not quantity. Our data showed that previously many women matched with each other but rarely started conversations. Dialogues often didn’t develop, and real friendships rarely formed. That’s why we moved away from random matches and blurred friend requests. Now Frienda uses friendship sparks. It’s immediately clear who is interested in whom, and the welcome message helps start a conversation and prevents connections from fading before they begin. We’re already seeing that the new mechanics increase engagement and lead to more real-life meetups. We’ve updated the subscription screen and expanded plan options. You can now choose between weekly, monthly, and quarterly subscriptions.

We’ve made your first few minutes in Frienda feel lighter: less profile setup upfront, more real women to discover straight away. Onboarding is shorter: a few steps, a quick selfie check, and you’re in. We’ll show you women in your city you’re more likely to connect with — by interests, pace, and life chapter. To unlock the full feed, finish your profile: add a couple more photos and a few words about yourself. It helps other women understand why they might want to write to you. Sign-in was improved, too. A temporary server hiccup won’t send you back to registration anymore. We’ve also made a few improvements, and the feed now opens noticeably faster.

The question we hear most often: Can I make friends on Frienda for free? Yes. Send likes with comments, and when you and another woman like each other, you become friendas, and the chat opens — no subscription needed. What’s new: We’ve added a short “How to find friends on Frienda” guide. You’ll see it when you open the app. Comments with likes now show in full — longer notes won’t get cut off anymore. Thank you for your reviews and support messages. They directly shape what we improve next.

You can now see who’s online or recently active right on their profile card in the feed — easy to spot who to message right now.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

• Likes and chats now look different from each other — easier to tell apart friend requests and conversations with your Frienda friends. • The age filter no longer resets every time you open the app.

Writing the first message isn’t always easy. We added suggestions: when you send a like, you’ll see ready-made phrases to get started — pick one and make it yours, or write something from scratch.

Now the connection won’t let you down: • Lost signal after typing a message? It’ll send itself • The chat comes back on its own after a drop — nothing to restart
