   I’ve been doing work on this app for a few years now and it has gone completely down hill. You are no longer Guranteed to be paid by clients after putting in hours of work for them and when you try to get paid and report your issue to the app, they do absolutely nothing to help you. Contests have been taken over by people from Bangladesh and other countries who will steal your work and try to pass it off as their own. They wait until your design gets rated and then they go on google and flood the contest with crappy designs they stole. People like this used to get suspended but it has become so wide spread that it’s impossible to report all the fraud so they just let it happen. I am owed over $400 that I will most likely never see. I’ve reported the client multiple times because the pay for the job I did was labeled as “guranteed” but that was two months ago and they still won’t pay me for some reason.

   I had an issue with a freelancer who left me in a lurch and didn’t complete the work he was paid for. In lieu of that I asked for freelancers help in at least retrieve the files so I could hire someone else to complete the job. Freelancer was less than helpful and pretty much told me I was on my own after spending in excess of $13,000. You need to have some sort of protocol for this especially since a lot of the practitioners are out of the country. Up to that point I was a big supporter of your platform. I still use it on occasion, but now only for contests or with practitioners I have a rapport and solid working relationship with. I spent years and resources on it only to have nothing palpable to use and it’s left a bad taste in my mouth as a result.

3. 1/5extremely dissatisfied with customer support

   First things first, the market is flooded with auto-reply bots making it difficult for small freelancers to compete. On top of that, there’s no way to ensure you get paid. I did a job with someone who was “payment verified” but they have completely gone dark and offline, so now my account is at a negative balance from the fee on top of having spent hours doing a job and not get paid for it. I’ve contacted customer support asking if it’s possible to cancel the fee, as I hate seeing my account be in a negative balance - None of which is my fault — why should I be penalized for the project owner NOT paying me????? Customer support sent me an automated reply email of all this BS which was completely unhelpful. I’m not disputing the pay, I’m literally asking if I can get my balance reset. I’ve had this app for months - I write long , thought-out bids — but I haven’t gotten a single “bite” due to outsiders who are willing to do the job for dirt cheap . Please find a way to localize jobs - US jobs for US freelancers.

   Sooo I’m a stay at home mom and I wanted to find work online to support my family because my husbands the only one working ATM. So I set up my profile and got quite k responses for data entry and administrative assistant. They had it all scripted out etc to sound legit! Asked which position would suit me best. The recruiter on freelancer referred me to the hr manager who’s name is Denise Blue and she conducted the online interview. $55 an hour after you’ve done all the training etc. everything as scripted! No phone calls or video calls just texts. She said they would send me the finances via mail in a check to purchase a new laptop and work materials to get stared. Took my information like my name address cellphone number etc. said they were looking for 16 people in my location when they open their offices. I said cool. I’m doing this for my family so I’m eager to work. I told her I’m not interested anymore because I found another job and she’s said “ what do you mean by that ?” She said “ you used us” I said no I didn’t use you I just think that this is a scam. I asked her before that where are you located , she’s says we are all over! I said where are you located she said in Texas city. I google it and they’re head quarters is in Israel. She said I just want you to relax today and report back to me at 8 am tomorrow. And what employer doesn’t introduce themselves and say this is our company. She gave me information that was computer and paste from the website because it said exactly what the copy is advertising. The company is legit but this lady and her side kick is not. They’re using the company Gazit Global LTd to do their scam work. Beware!!!! They send you checks to deposit into your account to purchase the working materials and tell you to send the remaining to them then they take all your money and you’re left with having to pay all that money to the bank because the check will bounce after a few days!

5. 1/5THE WORST APP IN THE WORLD

   This has got to be the worst app ever built in the history of app building. 0 stars As a client looking to hire freelancers for several projects, this app makes it rather difficult to fully engage with talents on this platform. Which also begs the question, if there are talents on this platform, why wouldn’t the company hire them to fix this useless app?…. Are there really talents on this platform ? … I know there are multiple web and app developers on your platform… were they the ones that built this useless app? As you can see, your poor presentation and app development can have a direct or indirect impact on talents on your platform .. IF there are talents on your platform. It is impossible to be on a desktop at all times.. this app is slow and not at all user friendly. It crashes at all times especially when attempting to view or respond to a message. What’s even worse is the desktop site itself is also slow and delayed with displaying messages. Whenever the app does decide to work and let’s say you sent an attachment to someone, it does not show you that the attachment were ever sent. It wasn’t until I went on the computer that I realized I had sent 10 attachments of thesame things. I’m pretty sure the freelancer thought there was something wrong with me. 0 stars for poorly created app.
