1. 5/5Delete your other reading apps… seriously!

   I love to read but also have a toddler so sometimes it’s not feasible. I love the option to switch mid way through a page or chapter from reading to listening and back. I have tried at least 10 other apps similar to this one (most of the ones advertised on fb) and either you have to watching 15 ads, jump through hoops playing games or completing offers or pay actual money to get more than 5 chapters/ episodes. This app is simple. There are 2 options one where you pay a small fee and can read and/or listen to books without ads or you can watch a 30sec-90sec ad and gain 5 minutes of time to read or listen. With seemingly no limit. I cook or fold laundry and just keep watching ads till I have hours of time saved. There’s also a bonus wheel that pops up. It has time increments of 5min-50min I believe and surprisingly you typically get at least 10-20 min, I even got the 50 twice in a row. My only “negative” comment would be that there’s a limited number of books but I’m hopeful that as it gets more popular they will get more books! Honestly best app I’ve found!

2. 1/5I really wanted to like this.

   I’ve always been an avid reader, and I particularly enjoy romance novels. I even enjoy corny novels that I can laugh at, and playfully poke fun of. However, the novels on this app aren’t just corny, or funny bad. These are just bad. They’re poorly written, fanfic style “novels”. Most are written from 1st person present tense, a personal pet peeve of mine, have trigger warnings, POV indicators and lots of things that make me think I could read a similar story on creative writing forum in some unknown part of the internet. This leads me into the other great annoyance that I’ve come to realize about this app. That is the way they monetize it. In theory, this is a free app with free novels, but if you don’t want to be bombarded by ads you can pay $13 a week for a subscription with no more ads. I grew up reading $1 Harlequin Romance novels, even a “premium” romance novel didn’t cost more than $7-$8. You would have to be going through at least 2 whole novels a week to make it worth it IMO. If you don’t pay, then it uses “minutes”, a micro currency that you must watch ads to receive more of. The ads are annoying and often hard to close out of, even if you watch the entire thing. There is a free spin that will give you minutes, but it often times isn’t enough to read more than 1 chapter per day. I can see that this was designed by following the template that gacha games are designed by, with micro transactions and addiction being the primary mechanism used to bring in money from consumers.

3. 5/5So glad I found this app!!!

   I have been downloaded and tried so many apps and I am so glad to have found this one!! Finally don’t have to wait 6 hrs+ to be able to get to the next chapter of a book! And I love that all you have to do is watch an ad or spin the wheel to add time to read for free…seems so simple and I’ll take it if I don’t have to pay for every little thing. I did however end of getting the subscription because why not? I don’t like audio books but I love that it gives the option to read some books just wish all of them were like that because I can’t follow along or pay attention when someone is reading to me. I did want to suggest there be like a FAQ section or something because I wanted to know how to rate the books I read or if I start a book and don’t want to read it how I delete it from showing under the books. But overall LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this app!!

   Love how we don’t have to buy minutes and that it isn’t 1 minute each ad we watch(wished it was 10instead of 5 each ad🥲) , some of the books I listened to are great! Finished predator within two days😣, it’s inclusive and I really hope they add more LGBTQ content soon! Please never add a pay wall to this or else I’ll lose my mind!😔 (Update) I still love the LGBTQ content but it’s been taking over by triangle relationships (always including a woman in the middle of two men which could have its own section like polyamorous) which I don’t really like since what captivated me first was the MLM/FLF stories, but there’s only one true MLM book on the app currently, so for anyone who wanted to listen to just MLM/FLF this probably isn’t the app for you, hope they add more soon though. (Update 2) notice how they added one FLF book, but you could have done better, like adding more of Loki’s book series of Predator, I stopped using the app for a while also because of the dates for a book to be released was pushed back, which I found kinda annoying…I also wish I can blacklist some tags so I don’t see what I don’t want.

   So I absolutely love the concept of this app! For me it works very well. I'm able to have as much time on the course as I want without the hassle of loosing it all if I didn't get to it. I wish they did this for other kinds of books too, lighter books. I d have a very recent problem with it though. I just upgraded my phone from an iPhone 12 to an iPhone 15 pro and today was the first time listening to the story I was on. I had to keep closing the app and reopening it to get it to play because it kept pausing for no reason. At the beginning of a new chapter, I'd have to open my phone, as I like to turn my screen off while I listen to things, and hit play only to close the app and start the whole process over again. Do I need to delete the app and redownload it for it to work properly? When I tried to reach out to the "support" I couldn't submit my problem because my email was too long by 2 characters. On a side note, how does one leave a review on the stories in this app anyway? Please help because this frustrates me.
