   The app is fun and does a great job introducing the user to restaurants. I have gone to several places to get cash back or points or both that I would not have normally visited and enjoyed them. The Adventures add an interesting twist. On the issues side. The app still uses a ton of battery. I have the latest iPhone and the latest iOS updates. Additionally, while using that excessive amount of battery. It makes the phone hot. I cannot stay logged into the app. The next thing is the pop-up to leave a review of the app comes up way too frequently. Once per login or when you’re about to log out. Is appropriate three or four or five times is a pain because you can’t just close it. When you close it, it knocks you out of whatever you were looking at and brings you back to the homepage. This has even happened while I’m uploading a review.. It’s absolutely not necessary and it doesn’t encourage people to leave a review it encourages them to stop using the app when it interferes with the use of the app. as I mentioned before, it’s great that we can add places that are not in here however, it takes too long for them to show up. It also takes too long for points and for the acknowledgment. There are several other simple user enhancements that would make the app easier to use and encourage more engagement. Those are for another time. As I’ve said, I enjoy the concept and using the app to visit new places and experience different businesses, but these enhancements and bug fixes are important as they’re limiting engagement and therefore limiting the impact that this app can have for a users and the businesses listed.

2. 4/5Always be crashing

   The app is great, great idea. I’ve been very active finding restaurants, posting reviews, etc and the ability to earn cash is legit. However, the app always crashes. Usually it crashes after I’ve spent close to 15 minutes editing my video and crafting my review. It’s so frustrating as I have to start from scratch. Maybe there can he saved drafts? Another annoying aspect is that your linked cards always unlink - I spend half the time re-linking my cards every other day. It’s extra annoying when you’re in line to pay, remember to check-in, but gets delayed due to the cards unlinking so I’m standing there holding up the line trying to relink so that I can check-in prior to paying.

3. 2/5Serious trouble with linked card and cash out

   This app used to be a great way to earn cash and very easy to use. The interface was designed user friendly and aesthetic. Until recently, like when they “upgraded” the rewards systems, I have been having trouble using the offers, because even if I linked my credit card, the offer doesn’t go through, and I had to physically take a photo of the receipt and upload. Although in the app, it was explained as the physical receipt was an alternative way to get the rewards faster, but the truth is that the app does not recognize any of my purchases using the linked card. I wrote email to customer service, and the response was rather confusing. She’s saying the restaurant “mandates” physical receipt to be uploaded, but the offer page clearly says “the purchase needs to be made through linked credit or debit card”. And when I was frustrated enough for getting rewards to work, I wanted to cash out whatever I had. But i can’t cash out either! It says “process delayed” I need to verify through an email. But the email never came through. Please fix them.

4. 5/5Best new app for foodies!

   If you’re not on Franki yet, download it immediately! This is basically Instagram for restaurant/bar recommendations with videos from locals so you can get real reviews and a true feel for a place before you go. The app has a bunch of cool features to make things even easier such as filters for the type of food or vibe you’re feeling, map view so you can browse in specific locations (with distance from where you are included), and even an option to put out a recommendation request for exactly what you’re looking for and get answers from other users. If you’re in to creating content, there’s also “gigs” you can submit video entries to for a place you’ve tried and get money back!

5. 1/5Used to be good, now it’s awful

   I haven’t been using this app for that long, but it used to be pretty good. It used to be pretty slow, but the customer service was reasonable (resolve issues in 3 days) and they always paid you. Now it’s pretty awful. I reached out almost 3 weeks ago, since I earned a $5 bonus from completing their level bonus. They still haven’t resolved the issue, and I actually got an email that they closed my help ticket. Customer service is non existent now, and it seems like they’re trying everything in their power to not pay people. They also added a bunch of new rules now, including uploading a photo of the receipt, which makes everything super inconvenient. But even after following their new annoying rules, they’re still not paying me. It’s super frustrating to deal with this app now with their awful customer service, their dishonesty, and all the new rules and loopholes.
