  1. 5/5Great for Samples

I’ve purchased the majority of audio units and IAA music apps for iPad and iPhone. I’ve purchased every DAW and most effects, synth and drum machines apps. This one is one of my favorites. It reminds me of Caustic Volca Sample which never got a 64bit update and therefore has not been in my workflow for a couple years. The endless number of glitch and bass samples this app produces is well worth the $2. Love the sounds this app generates and has instantly become a key part of my workflow.

  2. 5/5Workhorse for beats

This app has quietly but steadily become a workhorse in my creative process. More percussion sounds than you can shake a fist at and the interface makes it dead simple to explore, lock what you like, explore more, until you’ve dialed in the beat you want. Ridiculously cheap considering how much I use it.

  3. 5/5Best beat maker I have!!

So I use this and run it through harmony bloom and I get instant random fantastic rhythms. I was so tired of worn out kick drums and snares. This is just lovely! In the process of getting all your apps. They put some fun into music.

  4. 5/5Playable Interface

On top of what everyone is saying, the app is very “playable” with near zero latency and astonishing sonic variety with zero learning curve. One hand on the transpose slider and another on the pads and you can freely jam with this thing. Great job, devs!

  5. 5/5Instant fun music creation app!

This app is addictive, fun, easy to use and powerful features! Look forward to future updates and music apps from this developer. The randomizer that some users have suggested will be a great addition. Great job!

    bug fixes

  • 1.1

    * new parameters (can be linked to MIDI or used directly in AU hosts): * Algorithm: fractal sample (default), fractal spectrum, FM, random; increases number of unique sounds to 12 billion; * Previous code; * Next code; * bug fixes.

  • 1.1b

v1.1b: bug fixes. v1.1: * new parameters (can be linked to MIDI or used directly in AU hosts): * Algorithm: fractal sample (default), fractal spectrum, FM, random; increases number of unique sounds to 12 billion; * Previous code; * Next code.

  • 1.1c

    * auto-repeat in the virtual (on-screen) text keyboard; * bug fixes.

  • 1.2

    * new option - Hold; if enabled, notes will play endlessly without reacting to key release (noteOff) events; turning the note on again works like turning it off; there are two ways to enable this option: 1) using the Hold parameter in the "MIDI Mapping" window; 2) by pressing the HOLD button, which appears in place of LCK while playing the musical keyboard: press HOLD, release the desired notes - then the released notes will continue to play; * additional highlighting of locked samples; * bug fixes.
