1. 5/5love it, but a small problem

   I love the app, plus getting to see the weather and whatever else is going on in different parts of the world. But I have one small problem. I was under a severe thunderstorm watch, and I remember seeing stuff about rain and hail and all that. But when I pressed play on the rain/hail thing it didn’t show any hail and just rain. We did end up getting hail, so i just wish it showed the hail on the radar so I would’ve been prepared.

2. 1/5Do NOT Like the New Update to the App.

   Latest Complaint: Now this app pops up “concerning” screens saying my phone is either “so full it’s about to run out of storage” or my phone has been compromised due to my “visiting adult web sites”! Both of these screens have “press here to solve this problem” indicating that these are going to try to sell you something you don’t need by scaring you into pressing to correct the problem. So now besides having to deal with neon pop up adds on this weather app, we are now subjected to completely deceptive ones too. It’s a shame that what had been my favorite one for 10+ years has been ruined not just with ads but with loss of functionality. I had hoped the developer would read all the negative comments and make some much needed changes, or just put it back to the previous version. I’m seriously considering just deleting it. 😐 Update: this app just keeps going downhill! On the main screen there are two big neon green boxes flashing quickly, advertising something, giving me a headache. I’m glad I don’t have epilepsy! And now there’s no info on any of the other screens. What gives? If you don’t change this app back to more like the way it was before, you’re probably going to lose a lot of users.*** You’ve completely changed the way this app works, and it is quite frustrating. I’m having to redo my radar settings, and I’m still not sure if it’s right. And why does it no longer tell you WHERE the earthquake is when you select it on radar? Who has time to completely relearn and set up a weather app, esp when we’re getting close to thunderstorm season? I wish you’d put it back to the old version!

3. 3/5Please fix this bug

   This app has been very helpful the last few days but every time I get a warning alert while watching live (because we are taking shelter and tornado warnings are going off) the alert only has an ok button then when you select it, it opens up the warning’s full detail window. Then I have to exit that, wait for the next video to start playing the ad, then exit it because it is an old video and not live feed. Go find the live feed, rewatch another ad and finally get back to the live feed updating me on the conditions of where the tornado is! Very annoying when you get a warning after warning popping up and repeating the cycle!!! Please fix this annoying bug, Thanks!

4. 4/5Alerts and Live Video

   Love the team’s coverage and the app is pretty great, but I’ve noticed one little hiccup. When watching the live video, if an alert pops up on the screen it blocks view of the video and you have to tap OK to clear it. When this happens, the video feed jumps to the “next” video and you lose the live feed. To get it back you have to close the app, tap the live video option and watch the ad again before the feed comes back up. This could be problematic if people are in shelter watching the coverage. In those cases, seconds can make a huge difference. Any way to get this fixed?

5. 5/5Love The FOX Weather App!!

   I absolutely LOVE how this App TALKS TO ME!! No matter where I am or what I’m doing I can ALWAYS count on the FOX 23 Weather App to keep me informed and safe! My VERY FAVORITE thing about it is that if I miss the Notification Alert I can ALWAYS HEAR THE VOICE start Talking to me letting me know EXACTLY what is happening NOW and what’s going on around me! This App is quite literally a LIFE SAVER! I don’t know what I’d do without it!
