1. 5/5THE solution for small business banking

   I use it for my LLC and it can handle every aspect of managing my money, bookkeeping, invoicing, taking payments, determining tax liability and even my letters of incorporation. I had a long list of its features written, but the review editor trashed it and I am not rewriting all of that out again! Here's a short list of its great features: - Syncs with other bank and credit card accounts so you can cherry pick transactions for your bookkeeping - Automatically estimates tax liability based on income and deductions - "Pockets" serve as different accounts that I use to set aside funds for tax liability, escrow account for deposits, and proceeds - I've set up rules to automatically cherry pick transactions from other institutions I have synced, categorize them and put them in the appropriate pocket - links with Stripe - Competitive interest rates on deposits - Operating reports, such as profit and loss - Invoicing and purchase orders - There's probably more that I've missed, but for my business of managing rental properties it's all I need! No more expensive and unwieldy QuickBooks.

2. 1/5Beware very unethical they can take your money

   So please read this before you use this Company. First they are not even a bank they use Peirmont Bank and they can’t help you with this company. I used this company as my bank account for eBay so I could sell items perfectly legal right? Next thing I know they froze my account and say they can’t tell me why for security reasons. What? They also don’t have any way to contact them so I’m just out of luck. I can’t do anything please don’t use this company whatever you do. Very good chance this will happen to you because I know I’ve done nothing wrong and I have no way to plead my case I wish I knew this before I signed up I am contacting the BBB but guess what they are not even in the BBB I’m contacting Apple Legal next seriously this is so bad I can’t believe this is happening to me I just wanted to get enough money to buy my daughter a car and so I sold my computer my computer that I built and cost me $6000. I sold it for half that and when eBay transferred the funds to me I went in to the app and they froze it and will not give me a reason please you don’t want this to happen to you if you are a honest hard working person and someone can just do this I had no idea and I don’t want anyone else to fall victim to this. This is no way to conduct business and obviously I should have done more research no phone number on the app or any where else. I email and they say they won’t tell me anything for security reasons that’s a total scam I mean now it’s easy to see that they are scam artists but it’s to late for me. So at least I won’t just let them do this without a fight. I will seek justice and I won’t stop but please use a real bank I wish I could have.

3. 5/5Game changer - love it

   I love Found banking. It is a great all in one business banking tool. I use the paid version and I think the features are well worth the money. One of my favorite features is the built-in bookkeeping so you can automatically track your expenditures and have it all ready to go for taxes, no need for a separate bookkeeping program like QuickBooks. Your taxes are automatically set aside in a pocket so you don’t accidentally not have money for taxes at tax time. I think this is where a lot of small businesses get in trouble, and they built that in to help you not be caught offguard at tax time. They have a smart rule where they automatically decide how much you will need for taxes., but you can override that and set your own percentage. You can also create a pocket for additional savings and set up a percentage for every deposit to automatically save money as well. And you can create multiple pockets so I put a percentage aside in another pocket to help cover large annual subscriptions or fees, which has been really helpful. I love the ability to create “pockets“ which is basically separating out your money, which is great for financial planning or saving. And you can have multiple virtual cards with different rules and spending limits! I created one specifically for my online business purchases so that I don’t have to worry about my card getting hacked and losing all my money! The only downside is if you have multiple small businesses, it’s not really conducive to having multiple accounts… I did get an email from support saying there’s a way to do it, but it seems complicated and I don’t want to blend my different businesses money. .. but I do wish I could have several Found accounts. I like it that much.

   I wanted to be able to give this app my full trust. It has great features that really appeal to me as I formalize and professionalize my business. But after having had an account for a few months, and immediately after making my first ever transfer of money into my Found account, I was presented with a screen on the app that prompts you to accept third-party biometric identity verification. The small print says, in part, “By clicking the button below, you consent to Persona, our vendor, collecting, using, and utilizing its service providers to process your biometric information to verify your identity.” But here’s the kicker—there’s no way to see your account without “clicking the button below.” It’s a form of extracting coerced consent from the user with a random requirement they may not be comfortable with, foisted onto the user with no warning after they have may have already deposited money in there. This method of obtaining “consent” through strongman design tactics is utterly maddening and is a trust-breaking experience. Though I am likely to “consent” to this requirement in the short term , I will be looking to change banks as soon as I can after I pay the tax expenses I have already tracked in this app. I am extremely angry and disappointed.

5. 5/5New account pending wire transfer deposit under review!

   I recently opened an account with Found for my new startup business and I received a wire transfer from the sale of my property! I logged in to my account to see that the deposit was on hold and they made me do some extra verification regarding my ID and business. In the process I got stuck during the ID verification process and had to call to get a new link so I could continue. It was Monday morning and I had to wait over 30 minutes to finally speak with someone. They said their risk control would send me the link “sometime” today. Ok so I waited and it ended up coming fairly quickly so I finished the ID verification and then it asked me numerous questions about the business and how this deposit pertains to the business. Then it said they would review it and get back to me in 1-3 business days. Ok so as I was writing this review which originally was a 2 star review I received notification that the deposit was approved and it was in my account! So I am now changing my mind about the 2 stars and since I am impressed with the speed and level of customer service they provide. I will continue to monitor all aspects of the account and update this review if necessary!

   Since we live in a 24/7 world, it would be nice if the app had a day/night screen and possibly a balance widget visible from outside of the app. Your competitors have a balance widget.

   My biggest problem with the app is that you can't back out of it (close it) with the back button. This used to be a problem for Apple store app developers that simply tried to port their app quickly and easily to Google Play store app versions and am wondering if this is still the case here even though developers should know better by now. 🤨
