5/5The weather app to end all others!
The weather app to end all other weather apps. **Honest Review** I have spent countless hours trying numerous weather apps. All of the top searched and reviewed ones (and then some). While weather forecasting is not a perfect science, I would like one that’s mostly accurate and affordable. Foreca tops the list in my opinion. The layout and customization is amazing. Allowing you to customize every screen to see only what you are truly interested in. The alerts are accurate without being annoying. The maps and future radar are spot on with amazing accuracy. Not a huge fan of the Meteogram, but maybe that’s something that’ll grow on me. I would like to see an air quality map added and it seems they are working on this. Very well designed UI that is clean and clutter free. The watch complications are amazing. You even get radar right on your watch! I would highly recommend the paid version (which is very affordable) but if you choose to use the free one, the ads are not overwhelming. You can even choose from occasional full screen ads or fixed banner ads. Their support team is amazing and has an insanely quick response time. Try it out and you won’t be disappointed!

Was looking at getting a better service, foreca was recommended. I initially liked the way it looked, and went to change the city to one closer to me. Immediately was hit with a full screen ad. Full screen as in, I could view nothing else on the entirety of my screen, and had to force-close the app. I even waited to see if it would close itself, it didn’t. Had I stayed in the app, I would have had to of clicked on the ad and prayed that eventually I could get back to the application somehow. First time experiencing that ever in 20+ years of having a phone. Won’t touch this with a 10-foot pole ever again. I was well aware that the app had a subscription model but they advertised the free version in a way that stated that free users got all the features of paid, so my expectation was Weatherbug type ads built in. Annoying but those could be ignored. However, if your advertising model relies on you completely taking over my phones screen, there is nothing ‘free’ about your service.

5/5The most accurate app by far
I’ve tried just about every weather app out there over the years, and Foreca has consistently been the most accurate by a wide margin. Whether I’m planning a hike, tracking severe weather, or just deciding if I need a jacket, it’s the app I trust first. What really sets Foreca apart is that its forecasts don’t just look good - they end up being right. The hourly predictions, precipitation timing, and temperature forecasts have been remarkably reliable in my experience. The interface is clean, fast, and gives you a ton of useful information without feeling cluttered. If you care about weather and want forecasts you can actually depend on, I can’t recommend Foreca enough. It’s easily the best weather forecasting app I’ve ever used, and at this point it’s the only one I truly trust.

5/5At last...
For days, I’ve been searching for a reliable weather app. From apps with hidden subscription models, to flat-out crazy prices for radar and such, this app kills all those concepts. We have here an app that brings everything I need, hourly forecast, radar, meteogram and a widget with hour to hour. The app also uses stations near your location, and never bombards you with ads. The only ad I’ve seen were the bars that show up on the bottom. For 3 dollars a year if I remember, you can remove the ads and be left with a clean, working weather app. Apps like carrot have a one time free with even more tiers to buy after, and the other apps like TWC charge crazy for simple gimmicks that are free on this app. This is great for local weather, and I really wish for the best to the developers of this app. I only would like to customize the widget more, like being able to choose what to see on the widget. All in all, I’m sticking with this apps, thanks to being cheap and having literally everything I’m looking for in a weather app.

5/5Simple, customizable, loads of data, and ACCURATE
I feel like I’ve spent years looking for a good, straightforward weather app. Most are loaded with ads, weighed down with flashy features and marketing gimmicks, use oversimplified data, or give forecasts and conditions that don’t even remotely match up with the real world. (I live in coastal Virginia only a few miles from the ocean, so accurate weather is both important and hard to come by.) Foreca actually works. There are 3 screens with all the info you’d need: daily forecasts, hourly, and a very nice graph view for another perspective on the hourly. You can CUSTOMIZE the metrics shown on each screen so they show what you want. It somehow found a weather station a mile from my house that no other weather app knows about, so I’m at last getting realistic stats. And whatever models they use for forecasting work pretty darn well most of the time. Thank you Foreca.
