Lots of bug fixes to make your food rescue experience smoother!

This release fixes a few bugs as well as improves the display for instructions during a rescue while using increased font sizes on the device.

Improvements: =========== - Upgraded infrastructure version to give improved performance and stability. - Added ability for volunteers to add My Rescues as a calendar subscription on their preferred app (supports Google Calendar, iCal, Microsoft Outlook) - Improved user interface for the recipient signature step - Adjusted sub request screen to avoid volunteers accidentally dropping a template - Improved how app is displayed when text is enlarged via device settings - Added reminder to save changes when updates are made to the Account section of the mobile app - Restored photo step to the rescue workflow after all pickup locations Bug fixes: =========== - The buttons to request a sub were not reliably displayed in the mobile app - In a multi-donor rescue, the volunteer could not return to edit the contents of the first donation that was picked up - Banners denoting multiple stops were not reliably accurate - Tapping on a new rescue notification did not consistently take the volunteer to the specific rescue in the mobile app - Navigating away from app during phone verification process interrupts the workflow and prevents successful verification - When changing the email address via the mobile app, the old email address continued to appear after changes were saved - When location services were turned off in a volunteer’s device settings, it was not possible to launch a mapping app and there was no indication of why - Navigating with Apple Maps has an improved experience

Fixes an issue where not enabling push notifications prevented the map from loading by default.

- It used to be too easy to drop a template—that yellow button was hard to resist. Now it’s slightly more difficult to inadvertently drop a recurring rescue when you just want to request a sub. - We’ve eradicated the last vestige of no-contact imperatives in our app. (We still love our introverted volunteers!) - Our app went rogue, practically extorting you for notification permissions in exchange for access to certain rescues. Our engineers have successfully neutralized the threat. - Mobile users on Apple devices running on older OS versions (iOS 16 or older) weren’t able to use the app, but now they can! Planned obsolescence just isn’t our bag, baby.

We’ve improved network stability and resolved issues that were preventing some users from accessing the app: • Fixed unexpected logouts that occurred during network interruptions • Resolved splash screen loading issues on app startup • Fixed infinite loading spinners that appeared when reconnecting to the network The app now handles network changes more smoothly, whether you’re switching between WiFi and cellular or experiencing temporary connectivity issues.

Bug Fixes - The "Resume Open Rescue" footer no longer sticks around after you complete a rescue - Fixed region name cutoff in the Impact page dropdown - Fixed an issue where some volunteers got stuck in a rescue or taken backward when tapping buttons quickly or experiencing brief network interruptions. Improvements - Volunteers will be prompted to call the dispatch line when they attempt to drop a rescue within a given notice period, which can be customized for your organization. - Improved compatibility with different screen sizes, edges, and native device controls. - Optimized the speed and responsiveness of the Available Rescues screen. - Improved phone number entry and display, with formatting for international numbers.
