5/5A game changer for scenic hikes and day trips!
I love using Foggy to plan hikes and day trips around the Bay Area! I can always find where to get the most scenic views and have the best possible experience on my outdoor adventures. It’s very helpful to check conditions in different microclimates and watch the movement of clouds and fog. Living by the coast, I really appreciate having this tool to help me track (and sometimes escape) the marine layer!

5/5The Best at Bay Area fog.
I have been forecasting wind in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years. And wind and fog are tied together in the summer. This app shows the details of the fog better than any private or government web site or app. Moreover it allows you to zoom in, see topographic lines and move forwards and backwards in time. I use this app to illustrate wind often on my Facebook S. F. weather page!

I use Foggy to plan my bike rides around Livermore and day trips to San Francisco. It’s incredibly accurate and makes it easy to know where the sun will be and where the fog will linger. Simple, reliable, and genuinely useful!

We've been listening to what you've been telling us… here's what we worked through this round: - The map now gives more room to areas like Point Reyes up top, Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay down south. These start showing up the week of the 6th, though it may take a little while to fully propagate. - Community reports now refresh more smoothly as you pan around the map. - When satellite imagery isn't coming through, we will tell you… instead of just sitting there blank. - Plus some smaller fixes and polish along the way. Update now to get the taller map as it rolls out.
