  1. 4/5First Impressions

First of all, thank you to the developers of this project for their hardwork. I quickly went through the process of connecting to my Navidrome server and want to share my experience. Review: This app seems to have all major functionality, and I really like the ui. I would love to test more to see how the app handles the listening activity data because the home page is quite aesthetically pleasing. That said, I had some qualms that keep me from daily driving this client. One was the lack of shuffle options. I only found the shuffle button in the currently playing UI. I’d prefer to shuffle the queue without having to select a track to start with. Another issue was that the currently playing UI seems bugged on my device. I am using an iPhone 13 on ios 18, and the UI stretches off the screen. These two issues, though small, are enough for me to look for a different client.

  2. 4/5Good so far

The only thing that I see that needs to be added is that I want to be able to use the app with Tailscale with out having to go through the hassle of enabling https but it will not let me because it is not considered a private network please fix this

  3. 4/5Love the app. But one feature request. Please add playback for the Apple Watch app

I love this app and use it everyday and one feature that would be useful for me is to play music on my Apple Watch

  4. 5/5Excellent client

Able to access music and playlists. No issues. I would wish for Apple Watch support

  5. 3/5Pretty but lacking substance

Doesn’t support transcoding audio. Doesn’t support pagination or searching through the list, so good luck if you have over 100 albums or so.

What's new - Scrobbles: Track your listening history to Last.fm or ListenBrainz, just like Navidrome Web UI - Offline playlist: Bring your favorite playlist offline! - Download indicators: Track your downloads, never guessing ever again XD - Redefined album screen: Love your screen real estate Bug Fixes - Downloaded album with no downloaded song is no longer displayed - Login button is now disabled when you’re logging in QoL Improvements - flo will show “friendly message” when you try using http:// based server - Navidrome’s default “album cover art placeholder” is used when loading the album cover or when accessing a playlist - flo will try displaying “Album Artist” instead of the regular “Artist” and show the artist’s name in the song list. This is important for “Various Artists” or “Compilations” and notably, playlists - If you’re downloading tracks, you’ll see a badge in the “Download” tab to tell you the number of undownloaded tracks full release notes: https://dub.sh/flo16

While we have other fancy things on the table, these minor fixes are dedicated for the Navidrome's BFR release — congrats to the Navidrome team for the BFR release! If your Navidrome server is not on version 0.55.x yet, you can still continue using flo (while the upgrade is highly recommended!) And once again, thanks for choosing flo.
