1. 2/5Awful delays! Drivers don’t care.

   What a clown show! Our first Flix bus from Salzburg to Munich was 65 minutes late. All of us waited in the cold rain & wind. The “Slovak Brothers “ (two drivers) finally arrived. No English. Not sure they even spoke German. We finally departed. 10 minutes in, the driver pulls into a Shell Gas Station for their takeout “lunch”. On our way again, #2 driver heats his soup in a microwave oven behind the driver’s seat! I politely ask if the panoramic window shade can be raised a little so I can see the view I paid extra for (€4 each in the first row). “Nyet” he answers in his language. He understood my English fine! Next bus trip. Brussels to Amsterdam. OVER 90 minutes late with a driver who came on time, but then moved the bus across the street and then left altogether. After an hour of irate passengers waiting and discussing, a Flix company representative finally arrived. Said he found out the driver left to pick up passengers from another stranded Flix bus! What about us?! They will send another bus for us. Meanwhile a bus arrived going to a different station in Amsterdam said he had room for some passengers. So we borrowed a Hot Spot and booked two new seats and left on that bus, another $80 expenditure. Got to Amsterdam with no incident. After applying for a full refund for being 120 minutes late, we were denied that, but they granted us a 50% refund. How kind! (sarc ). We should have booked trains as we had originally planned. It’s worth the slight extra to avoid the aggravation and waste of our vacation time!! DO MOT TAKE A FLIX BUS EVER!

2. 1/5need to fix there app/bus system

   so i bought a ticket a week ago and today i was waiting for my bus that was supposed to arrive at 4:30 and i was at the location at 4, a couple minutes later when looking at the app i saw it got delayed an hour and 30 minutes and I didn’t want to stay out there for over an hour in the sun so i went back to my friends house. at around 5:20 i check the app and it said my bus would be there at 5:22 which isn’t even an hour from the original time after telling me it was a over 1 hour delay. i also never got a notification that the arrival time changed so i never knew. i had to take the train back home, when i called customer service they wouldn’t give me a refund because it had to be a 2 hour time gap from the original arrival time vs the delayed time so i lost 40$. Another situation happened two days before where the bus drove past the pick up and never stopped so i had to take a $140 uber to my location, but i did get a refund for the bus ticket, i have so many other horror stories that have happened to me but these two occurrences happened in the last 2 days. the app works well but needs to change the notification system to alert the person 30 minutes before arrival to make sure they make it on time if that was the case i wouldn’t have missed the bus, and also not being able to get a refund over a fault in there system is nonsense, and their bus drivers need better training, i will never use flix bus again and i would not recommend it.

3. 1/5Get a Different Bus

   My bus never came to our stop, it skipped it entirely. I and 8 other strangers arrived at the University of Washington bus stop 30 minutes early. I was tracking the bus on the app and it said "on time" at 7:05am when it was supposed to pick us up at 7:00am and on the map it was across the city. I kept watching it until about 8:15am, and that whole time there was no delay notification. It never came to the stop we were at (we are certain it was the right stop), and then on the app it showed the bus going to the other stops that were supposed to be after us. We waited for over a hour and talked to a customer service person on the hotline who gaslit us and said it was unfortunate that we missed the bus that NEVER CAME AT ALL. Because of the fact that this bus did not pick us up, I missed my connecting bus and had to buy a train ticket instead. Around 8:20 I finally received a notification that there was a delay. Obviously. Supposedly, the bus eventually was sent back to the stop after all of us had left to seek other means of transportation. I was not given a refund because of the refund policy being only for delays of 120+ minutes, and this "delay" was 90 minutes, though it wasn't a delay at all because it DID NOT go to our stop. We need better access to the time tables, better bus tracking, faster delay notifications, better access to customer service, and we absolutely should all receive a refund for that.

   The application works correctly, but the company as a carrier is very bad. Last week I ran into such a problem when I bought a ticket from Philadelphia to New York. I came to the bus stop in advance , but by the appointed time the bus was not at the stop and several people had accumulated who also did not understand what was going on . Later it turned out that in connection with the marathon in the city , they decided to postpone the stop and did not notify the passengers who bought a ticket and thought that the stop would be at the old place . I contacted the support service and I had to stand in the cold for an hour figuring out all the circumstances of this case . Well, the only answer to all my requests was that I had to somehow guess myself that the stop would be postponed. The support service also informed me that all the information is indicated in my ticket , but I have a screenshot that there is a stop in the ticket at the old place where I was waiting for the bus . The company did not suffer any damage to itself , but I had to get to the train station and buy a train ticket . Next time I prefer not to use the service of this company . And I will prefer a company that cares about its passengers and tries to convey important information in a more vivid way . Anyone who wants to use the services of this carrier as a last resort, you know you can lose money and health hoping for not high-quality.

   The app is fine. This bus line is absolute garbage. I booked a ride from the 22nd to the 26th of December and they changed my bus ticket to the 24th without any compensation. On my ride to Vegas from Los Angeles, the bus supposedly had no heat and the entire bus felt like an ice chest. I got sick. Then on my bus ride back, I went to the address in my email but we didn’t see anyone over there. After I called customer service about 3 times I finally got an answer and they told me that the actual stop was a little over 2 blocks away from where I was supposed to be. I would have made it to my bus had they given me the correct address. I asked to speak to a supervisor since I was given an incorrect address and there was no way for them to rebook me on to the next bus ride home. I basically had to buy a whole new ticket. I am a young woman and the area they had me waiting at was less than safe. Anything could have happened. Luckily my brother was able to take me back to my mother’s house but I missed important appointments back home because of the unprofessionalism I experienced with this company. Just use Greyhound instead. Had I not had family here, I would’ve been in an even tougher spot, especially especially since I was 35 minutes away from where I was staying. I believe this bus line is a scam. Do NOT go through them especially if you’re a young woman traveling alone at night.

   The app works ok, but its unsolicited marketing messages are a nuisance. The National Express app is less intrusive.

   Pathetic service. The bus driver openly said, "Go ahead and complain to whoever you want," showing complete disregard for passengers. To make matters worse, there's no customer care support available to help or address the issue. Extremely disappointing.

   The app works fine, but a warning to those who doesn't know, because you're not told this in the app: A refund only gives you a voucher that's valid for 1 year, which they of course don't tell you during booking and hide far down in their T&C for booking. So don't buy any tickets without being completely sure that you are going!
