  1. 5/5Good for now, bette than others

It’s really hard to find the right app! If I could just get a personal trainer, I would. I have tried FitBod which was great except it wouldn’t recommend enough variety and equipment in my gym. I liked how I could skip things. Then I tried StrongHer and again I liked it but wanted more variety. Now I am trying FitnessOnline and I like it but I find that I have to cheat the app which I don’t like—example: I only have 30 mins to workout due to needing to be home for my kids so so skipped a few things and then it makes me feel bad about it. I wish it would let me see the time required ahead of time. Also sometimes a the gym I have to adapt bc someone else is on a piece of equipment I need but I have limited time. We will see how long I used this for. I also wish I could search for a specific equipment workout (aka barbell only) as right now we are getting a huge snow storm and I can’t leave the house—I guess overall adapting to life would be cool.

  2. 5/5Best workout app out

I tried a couple different apps before this one. I used the free version at first and loved all the different workout types. I liked that they have options for workouts at home with and without weights plus gym workouts with machines. I upgraded to the paid version instantly once my trial was up I gained 5 pounds in a week which was awesome progress for someone bulking! The only thing I would add is being able to edit pre made workouts. Like being able to add your own arms workout if those machines aren’t available at the gym. Or adding abs or cardio at the end of a workout that doesn’t have one. Other than that the app is great and I do recommend it to everyone.

  3. 1/5Extremely deceptive, lacks basic features

I wanted so so so badly to give this a solid 4 stars. It’s a little difficult to navigate but you can learn. It’s a little confusing to set up but you can learn. I was ready and willing to give it an easy 4-star review and start recommending it. Boy am I glad I **DIDN’T**! For the first week of using it, I could see the calories burned, could set the rest timer, and so on. Now? Nope! My ability to set a rest timer is GONE. Locked behind subscription. This is a BASIC FEATURE! Even the notification sound is premium! For the first week, workouts would auto-swap to the next when I had finished one. GONE. I could see calories burned. GONE! Distribution of exercise type to let me know if I was focusing too heavily on one thing. GONE! Pretty much ALL of my analytics have been locked behind a paywall. Nowhere in the app was I told this would happen! Yes, there were a small number of features locked behind premium, but none of them were world-ending. And honestly? I was seriously considering getting a subscription for the QoL stuff like copying workouts and the timer sound so I didn’t have to try and watch the clock while planking. Nope. Not anymore. There may have been fine print somewhere but it wasn’t made obvious that I would LOSE ACCESS TO BASIC FEATURES after a week. Absolutely unacceptable. We have GOT to start standing together and making it clear to these companies that we are TIRED of deceptive business practices. Subscriptions to an ongoing service are fine! It’s totally reasonable to ask for ongoing support to keep your app running! But pulling the rug out after a week? Giving someone just long enough to start settling in before duping them and taking away features that should be STANDARD on any workout app? Entirely unacceptable.

  4. 5/5Awesome app for new workouts

Never left a review for a app before but it’s needed for this, the app is great for finding new workouts even for experienced gym goers. Sometimes I only have time for a quick workout and only have dumbbells available to me, I can enter into the filter in the app “dumbbells” and it will find all the workouts I can do with them and my targeted muscle group and I can choose from there it’s awesome. I was also curious about resources available to people getting into working out on the app, and the premade workout regimes are pretty in depth I especially like the warnings, cautions and notes that are provided on the workouts I highly recommend giving it a try plus it’s free!

  5. 5/5Best, most legit fitness app ever

I have tried many different fitness apps. None of them have come close to this one. It has made my gym experience so much better. I used to dread having to figure out what workouts to do but this app has freed me of my troubles. It’s nearly like having a personal trainer on your phone. I would highly recommend this app to anyone looking for a fitness app. Gladly upgraded to the subscription after the 3 workouts Suggestion: Please allow users to select workouts for specific days i.e. leg workouts on Sunday, upper body on Tuesday, etc. Also would be nice if workouts were customizable in case you don’t have time for the full workout.
