  1. 5/5Love this app!

I really got a lot of it. I highly recommend buying!

  2. 5/5The best fishing log ever

FishingSmart keeps track of everything and it’s fast. Most fields auto fill so you can log a catch quickly while on the water. I love how I can go back and look at where I caught fish at the same time the previous year. If you love to fish this is a must have app.

  3. 5/5A++ app

Can’t say enough about how much my Son and I love to look back from summers past and see all the fish we caught and remember the weather that day, the location and what we used to catch the fish. Fun and easy app!

  4. 5/5Best fishing log out there

I use this all the time. Keeps track of everything and has made me a more effective fisherman. Love the maps and filters that allow me to view my catches any way I want to see them. And it’s all so easy to enter the data....no wasted time on the water.

  5. 4/5Best fish log

This is the best fishing log app I have found. I used this app to log more than 600 fish last year and I love it. No other app I’ve found automatically captures precise location through GPS, records the date and time and automatically records the weather conditions. You can quickly and easily capture all other important details about each catch. I stopped just short of five stars because it would help to have a field for trailers and trailer color in the lure section.

    Corrected in-app purchase feature.

  • 1.1.0

New in this update: - Improved Lure search. Each word entered is matched individually instead of requiring the entire string entered, i.e., all words in exact order, to match. - Added option to Duplicate a catch when selected from the Catches list. - Added option on maps to select Satellite, Hybrid, or Standard map views. - Added ability to reset Settings to the original default values. - Bug fixes and performance updates. Remember....After you have entered your catches, you can list them all with Catches then Sort them anyway you like. You can also use the powerful Filter option to narrow down the list (e.g., only Spotted Bass on Lake Lanier) and then use Map and Stats on that list. With all these tools, you can get the data you need to plan a successful fishing trip. FishingSmart.

  • 1.2.0

New in this update: - Improved autofill for Lures. The app now remembers the last used lure weight and lure colors for each lure. When a lure is selected in a Catch, the app autofills these saved values. This feature can be turned on/off in Settings > Autofill New Catch > Remember Lure Data. The default is On. - New Lure Color. You can now select a "No Color" for lure colors. - Bug fix. If you are new to the app, review the Tutorial Screen the first time the home screen is shown. It can be turned back on in Settings > Show Tutorial Screen. It shows the best order of steps to setup the app: 1. Spots - Enter the names of lakes and streams that you fish. 2. Fish and Lures - Pick your favorites by tapping on them to show a red heart. You can also enter your own LureGroups and Lures if you wish. 3. Catch - Press Catch to log a catch. Enter as much data as you want. Fish and Lures will show the favorites you just picked. Save it. 4. Catches - List your catches. The default is all your catches, but you can use the powerful Filter and Sort features to modify and rearrange the list. Use Map and Stats to display information about only the catches currently in the list. 5. Stats (from home screen) - Get stats on all the catches. I hope you enjoy the app. Thanks for downloading it. New in this update: - Bug fix. Pictures that are taken using my app's camera function are stored in my app and working fine. But I also store a copy in your Photo Library and that copy did not have GPS location information. It will going forward but I am not able to go back and correct older pictures in your library. Again, all photos that you see in my app are fine. - Support for IOS 10.3 PLEASE REVIEW MY APP if you love it. If you have issues with it, please let me know what I can do to make it great for you. • 2.0.0

New in this update: - New lower price for ProVersion. The non ProVersion allows you to use all the feature/function of FishingSmart for a max of 15 catches. ProVersion removes this limit. - New Export function in the Catches screen that creates a CSV (comma-separated values) file of the data in the catch records. This can be emailed or texted and later used to import into a spreadsheet program or saved as a backup. - Minor bug fixes and updates to support latest IOS and devices.

  • 2.1.0

    - New Import function allows you to use photos of your old catches to create new catch records using the date/time and GPS location stored in the photos. - Rewrote entire photo management to use photos from Photo App library instead of storing photos in FishingSmart app which greatly improved performance. - Minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

  • 2.2.0

    - Fixed bug in weather...not capturing temperature and wind speed. - Fixed several layouts for iPhone X notch.

  • 3.3.0

    - New Structure field in Catch. Located in the Water Information section, this describes where you caught the fish....Point, Logs, Rocks, Reef, etc. You can add or delete Structures and change the order they appear using Home > Setup > Structure - Enhanced Purpose field in Catch. You can now add or delete Purposes and change the order they appear using Home > Setup > Purpose - New Home Screen Layout. Added Setup tab to Home screen which now includes Spots, Fish, Lures, Purpose, Structure, Import, and Settings. - Map Improved. When mapping catches over large distances (e.g., multiple states), the size of the map was fixed, making it possible that no catches were visible until you zoomed. The size of the map now changes dynamically so all catches are visible from the start. If you like FishingSmart, please consider writing a review in the App Store. Thanks.

  • 3.4.0 · 23 Aug 2024

    - Decreased In-App pricing to $ 0.99 US. You can add 4 catches before you are asked to purchase Pro Version with unlimited catches. This allows you to try all the app features before purchasing it. - Added Help screens. Access main home screen by selecting '?' at top left. - Fixed crash from new Photo limited selection option in IOS. - Fixed bug in Sort. Some sort selections didn't sort correctly.
