   I recently called the so called Customer Service and some specific questions. It turned out that I did not to bank representative but a call center. When I asked for phone number of my branch so I could talk to the manager of the branch I was told that they are not allowed to that and that I have to go to the branch.

2. 2/5First Bank App Review

   This app has serious limitations in the information you need to see. Either is not readily available or it is difficult to know how. Recently I had 2 different questions about the app and the customer service on the phone didn’t know the information I needed. Not even at the bank they were able to explain a charge and find another transaction I was looking for. You can’t request the transactions for a period of time. You can’t add information to the transaction. To further complicate the process, the same transaction could show up; then move to another section and finally shows on another place or report. I use apps from 3 banks and this one is the worst.

3. 1/5Worst banking app ever

   For the last four months, I have been blocked out of the payment site every time I tried to use it to pay my lease. I called customer service and support at various times and I had to spend lots of time changing my password and/or my email to be let in. The iPhone version of the app did not allow me to change the date of my payment to a specific date. I cannot set up to make my payment from another account without having to go through many steps and I can’t issue payments from my other banks or accounts. For reference use First Tech credit union, I can make transfers and payments from and to various accounts, but not to First Bank. I assure you, once I finish paying off this lease, I would never do business again with First Bank.

4. 4/5Removed the forgot password feature

   Many aspects have been improved over the previous app but for some reason the “Forgot Password” option is nowhere to be found! You can answer security questions to unblock your account but as of now you cannot reset your account password from the app, an option which the previous version had. Why was it removed? Now we all have to go call a representative to reset passwords.

   When a person transfers money from savings to checking or vice versa, the information does not specify which way the money is traveling. It shows the amount and the fact that money has been transferred; but not the direction. First Bank of PR needs to allow a person to make transfers from their account to send to an external account. Right now, the option is not available. A person can have an external bank transfer from an 1st PR account .
