  1. 5/5Thanks to the Developers! This app is a must have for anyone living in a fire area!

Thank you to the developers! I have been waiting for a comprehensive well thought out app for years… I now have one. Watch Duty is the first app that is worth keeping on my phone and using as a critical resource in an emergency. It does not require a fire become large before it shows up on the app. The app is not limited to one Fire agency but reports fires from multiple agencies, jurisdictions and cities. Evacuation site information is not limited to people but includes small and large animals too. (Thank you!) App includes an interactive map, Fire maps and Fire information, pictures and evacuation information. Again Thanks to the Developers! This app is a must have for anyone living in a fire area.

  2. 5/5Great tool for finding wildfires.

Not only is this application a good tool, but it’s also free. Most of those other applications charge by the month and they’re not as good.

  3. 3/5Too hard to view fire perimeters

Things I want to know right off the bat: where are the fires, how big is the active/burned area, what direction is it moving, and what’s the air quality. While this app does have perimeter info, it’s too hard to find for each fire and should be displayed on the map by default. But I do really appreciate that the app also has air quality. I always feel like I’m fighting with the bottom menu to stay minimized, it keeps popping up and takes 1/3 of the screen. Even the minimized version of the menu uses a lot of real estate. I doubt I would ever use the feed. This app is promising because most of the information is there, it just needs to be displayed better!

  4. 2/5Used to be a 5 star app

I live in an area that has had pretty bad fires. Information on where fires are is vital. And this app does still provide that. But also important is: size of fire, direction that it is traveling, and how close is it to containment? This app used to provide this information and more. Then they did an update and added Irwin reports. Now, I can see where a fire started and that’s it. It has been a couple of years and not only is it still not giving any important information, but the developers are now trying to sell another service. To the developers: thank you for the years when you were providing needed information. I will be deleting this app now.

  5. 1/5Just downloaded 8/1/25

NOT accurate so far! Pretty disappointed-just downloaded this app today as the Grand Canyon Dragon fire just turned MEGA, & our air quality at Page/Lake Powell is VERY POOR. Have heard that the fire is moving closer to the small communities between Grand Canyon and Page, wanted to track the fire and smoke. The Grand Canyon DRAGON/MEGA Fire is NOT EVEN ON THE MAP!! Instead over half of UT is on fire—according to the map—but we were told that a lot of those fires were mostly contained. Oh, and air quality in AZ is showing green-meaning good. IT IS NOT. I’ll keep this app for a few days, see if things improve, but NOT IMPRESSED thus far. 😤
