1/5Major alignment issues(Nothing helped)
Neither one of these suggestions helped on both an iPad mini or large iPad Pro. The problem started immediately with the February 2 update on both devices. Dropped this review down from 5 stars to 1 because the latest update has caused text to be written over other text both on an iPad Mini and the large iPad Pro. Just sloppy programming. First programming assignment is usually some type of output alignment. No excuse for this. The app is virtually unusable now, Old review.. First of all I want to say how helpful Find a Grave has been for me over the years. I’ve found many ancestors because of it. The history it provides is priceless. There is an issue with searching that just started this past week. I’m a student of President Harry S Truman and I’ve used Find a Grave to learn more about many of the people I learn about through my research. I first noticed this problem when I searched on Harry S Truman a few days ago. He started not showing up on searches. Neither does Richard Nixon or John F Kennedy. Other searches appear to be okay. And, if you search using the website the searches do work. The one common denominator I’ve been able to determine is famous people using the iOS app.

4/5Decent app, but some features missing
This is a reasonably good app for performing many of the core functions of the Findagrave site, but a few things are missing. In particular, you cannot view your messages to and from other users. Nor can you send new messages from here in the app. You can suggest edits for a memorial, but you can't view anything about your past edit suggestions. Also, the screen for suggesting edits does not include a slot for edits to the bio. You can get around these limits by tapping on "view memorial on findagrave com" on a memorial, and then navigating within the little web browser that opens up, but in that case you’re better off using your iPad's web browser to go to the site in the first place. 4/5A blessing but could use some improvement.
Most of the volunteers are truly trying to make this site the best it can be. I have only had one person be rude to me so bless her heart. The bad is most definitely outweighed by the good. I have had numerous thank yous sent to me for adding their relatives. I would not have ever found this site years ago if someone had not put my dad on it. I do think there should be guidelines though. New members should not go in and ask for everyone they know to be transferred to them when they have done nothing to contribute. A one year period where you actually volunteer for the site would be nice before you can request a transfer. I personally do not like death certificates added to memorials either. And while I am stating my opinion, the bio section should be used for what it says it is not for copies and pastes of census records.

4/5Flowers 💐 & Greetings not working
I was able to send the flower greetings up until a few days ago. It’s no longer working on my iPhone 7. I can get to the persons grave page, but now I can’t leave well wishes or even see the well wishes from others anymore. That’s sad because I never had a problem using this app or bookmark for that matter up until a few days ago. And I have been with Find A Grave for over a decade. It Saddens me that I can no longer reply when I am not near my tablet now. Sometimes when I’m out and about I see famous people pictures or something reminds me of my lost family members & I like to show them I still care about & miss those people dearly. I like to leave messages on their pages so I can see the messages again at another date in time. Sorta like looking back with them. Maybe it’s just a glitch & it returns on my phone down the line?

2/5What happened?
There use to be many very well researched info, details, and pics under a bio from the original info from the original grave poster, but as regular people come along and add a less informative, basic pics of headstones, the original, well researched and informative ones become overwritten and all that valuable info is gone forever! If I knew that was going to happen, I would have screenshot all the notable ones I read in the past to kept records of my own. This is a shame. The format is chaotic now. Info use to be set up in a simple organized way. Family members were listed centered beneath the deceased (but before their bio), available for you to easily dig deeper into the family history of interest. You can click on their family member and read, hotthe back button and return to the original person. Now it’s so chaotic, I have to hope to encounter the name family members in the original person’s bio, (it’s formatted so disorganized now) I cannot simply click on their name and be taken to their bio and members. If I’m lucky enough to see their info there, I have have to type them them all in individually, basically requiring a handy pen and paper so you don’t forget the names of who you intend to look up, then once the deep dive is over, I can no longer hit the back button to go back through to my original person. It’s horrendous now. The only reason I keep it is because it’s the only option right now. If I get lucky, I’ll actually find some info to someone I have interest in looking up, but heaven forbid someone add a pic and all that good info that was there originally could be gone tomorrow.
