   As many of us who have been here from the beginning know. This app went downhill fast when they implemented their high priced subscription based model. I would highly suggest looking into “old roll” as an alternative app. It does the same thing with the same ui. Vintage film emulation without the $90 lifetime purchase that doesn’t even work for some people. I recently found it so I haven’t explored all aspects of it yet. But they give you a handful of free options and then you are able to purchase the films separately or subscribe/purchase a lifetime subscription. From what I see right now lifetime is around $18 which seems a lot more reasonable and they are still updating and releasing more films. And you have the option to purchase the films separately for $0.99-$2.99 (like old filmo) Definitely not trying to kiss up to old roll. But I just really miss old filmo where they released constant updated with some yearly freebies as well. $90 for lifetime is a joke especially if people still can’t access their films after paying. They should have at least kept the option of buying single rolls. I should have never updated and kept the old version.

2. 5/5Best of its kind

   I love these analog camera style apps, and this is my favorite of the ones I’ve used to date. Fimo’s films are gorgeous, and the interface is pleasant to use, though a little bit clumsy in landscape. Still, I’m delighted every time I use the app and find myself trying to find excuses to take more photos with it. A few wishes: I’d love the ability to save an unprocessed version of a photo taken (perhaps the photo can be saved as “with edits”, so it can be reverted to unprocessed if desired from the main Photos app), and the ability to have embellishments such as frames left out (like how dating a photo is optional), would be nice as well. Regardless, thanks for the wonderful app.

3. 5/5Fantastic recreation of analog films

   FIMO does a beautiful job of recreating the look of classic analog films. There are a number of free film types available with no restrictions. Additionally there are others available for a small charge. All are extremely high quality and well worth it. I keep looking for reasons to take pictures just to see this app work its analog film magic. I do have one request for the developer: please consider an option to import photos without changing the aspect ratio or adding a frame. I have photos shot in other apps that end up getting cropped badly when FIMO forces a particular aspect ratio during import.

4. 1/5This app raises a lot of concerns on personal data

   I just found out upon upgrading my iOS that this one app (out of 656 on my phone) requires my App Store login info. It was listed in my settings. When I went to the app to investigate, after pulling consent to use my login info, I found that I can still access my purchases without using the App Store login. So what is the need to use my login and they provide no other choice to use an email login? Also, the feedback section of the app requests that if there is a payment related issue to upload payment and contact info details when there is an issue. That sounds a lot like the developers are requesting credit card info and personal information for billing address that is unnecessary if we are forced to use the App Store details.

   Justame has clearly mastered the art of turning the iPhone into a useful and interesting camera. Thus far, none of their cameras are innovative. They merely imitate what’s been done before. Mind you, these emulations are incredible. But they are still copies. The world needs a new kind of camera. One that makes animal noises. When I photograph pets (cats and dogs), I have an impossible time getting them to look at the camera lens on my phone. Imagine if my phone made a chirping bird noise a split second before the shutter snaps! My cat would instantly look at the camera. If the camera makes the same noise, my cat won’t look again, since she already knows that that sound is. Trust me, I’ve tried it. But what if a digital camera were to cycle through different high pitched noises with each snap of the shutter button! This is an app that everyone needs. We all need better pet photos.

   it used to be such a great app but now every aspect of it needs a different purchase or subscription with high prices. if you are not able to pay the fees it's practically useless..

   This app steals your money I purchased the one year pro subscription now it says I have to purchase it again complete scam. if I could give zero stars I would what a horrible system.

   I renewed my one-year subscription, but all the pro films are not enabled. I already clicked Restore, and even cleared cache and data of the app. But it still hasn't restored my subscription. I paid for one year!
