1. 4/5Missing zoom levels on portrait mode on the Back Camera.

   On my iPhone 15 pro, as well as many other models, portrait mode on the back camera has a few zoom models, yet this version goes to the wide angle only for portrait mode. Doesn't make sense, it should be at telephoto mode or at the least, the regular back camera distance. It's too wide when it's in portrait mode. Again, ideally, the app should be able to give you what your phone zooms to in its native portrait mode on the rear camera. Please fix please, this app is super expensive and no one like wide angle portraits mode, it's literally in the name, portrait, not landscape or full body/frame. Ok thanks

2. 5/5Bad. Seriously bad.

   I got the subscription just so I could properly put up a review on how bad this app is. The controls are awful. It’s hard to get my finger right on the zoom. Scroll. There is no 48 megapixel. It’s only using the 12th. Many of us have an iPhone that is 14 or newer. Meaning we would like to see our 48 megapixel but we’re never gonna see you because this app anywhere in the settings. There is no focus peaking or a focus zoom so you don’t really know what’s in focus if you don’t have absolutely NASA quality perfect eyesight. The rest of the app is also downhill. It just isn’t a good interface at all. It feels like the worst of the 1990s first generation digital cameras. You don’t want to feel like in 1990s first generation digital camera. There is no highlight and shadow stripes, so there is no way to know if you are over and under exposed until you see a super bright light or a super dark shadow in your image. And that is not a good indicator of being over or under exposed. This app is awful. Stay away. Unless you really want those retro late 90s early 2000s vibes, then stay away. Even for you filter lovers, the filters are generic nonsense from Instagram.

3. 3/5Won’t record after purchase and app won’t close! Beware!

   The photography possibilities on this app are second to none, that’s a given - and the only saving grace for the app. The issues start to rear their ugly heads (yes heads, plural) once you decide to purchase filming capabilities. I bought the 3.99 pro upgrade followed by Kodak series and Fuji series. And guess what? None of them work! I hit the red record button and it sends me right back to the purchase screen, really frustrating. They didn’t waste time taking my money, but can’t update their apps functionality issues? Not cool! Then there’s the exiting of the app. It’s a nightmare! Like most functional apps you swipe and it disappears. Not this one! I have to constantly sign in and out of my home screen to finally exit the app. Also, to make matters even worse, I deleted and redownloaded the app. In hopes the app was glitching, and could be corrected with a “fresh start” I got just that! I had none of my purchases and all the same issues I mentioned above! Terrible! I’ll be going through Apple to get my refund. This app was/is a real let down. Proceed with caution, fellow consumers!

   First of all, you have to pay for the app to even download it. Then you have to pay to add film packs. You ALSO have to pay to unlock pro mode which contains very necessary features like being able to edit your photos after you take them. For pro mode you can either pay a subscription or unlock everything for a one time fee of $80!! Typically with apps you either download them for free and then have to pay a subscription, OR you pay a one time fee to download the app and then you get all the features without needing to pay a subscription, but usually not both! Also, the app is glitchy (sometimes photos just don’t save) and the layout is difficult to use. It’s a shame because the photos it takes are pretty nice and the concept is appealing, but this app was a waste of money for me.

5. 4/5Pretty good app

   First off I am no pro photographer but recently have been getting more knowledgeable and involved in taking photos. I have purchased quite a few apps as I like to use as many features as possible. My friend told me about the Ricoh GR and I’m itching to buy one but said I need to prove to myself I will put it to use. I have halide, 1998 cam, sweet film,HUJI and fimo. They all have their own pros and cons and I’ve purchased the upgrades. That all being said. This app feels like in 1998 and fimo. It’s got a great layout but honestly wish it could have more filters. Also I couldn’t find a manual which would be nice . The filters it does have render some nice stuff and the extras you pay for do create some nice images with really cool frames like old pics.I don’t think it’s quite worth what I paid so I hope there is a nice upgrade for us. Overall feels fun to put together a picture with the options available in pro, and I’m eager to snap photos throughout my day.
