   I booked tickets for a ferry from Corfu to Sarandë for hours after my flight would land but my flight ended up being delayed so I contacted support to change the tickets. I was told that they would contact the ferry company and try to change to the next day for me and that I would receive an email update. Hours later I never received an email update so I went back to the chat, I could see that the person who helped me was online within the last 15 minutes so I went ahead and asked if there was any update. I saw that they read my message, I went out of the app to check my email to come back to see that the chat was no longer there. The employee must have deleted. The integrity of their support employees is really questionable so much that I don’t want to use the app ever again. I was able to call the ferry company myself once in Greece from the hotel phone and they changed it no problem.

2. 5/5Great for Croatia - has all the ferry lines

   This app was fantastic for Croatia ferries to the islands because it has ALL the ferry lines from one port to the next port in departure time order, and gives arrival times too. It also shows the prices up front, and from what I can tell charges the same price as going to the individual ferry line websites. Buying a ticket took just two minutes — I bought two tickets while running for a ferry!

   Me and my wife came to Athens on holiday and had scheduled a flight to Naxos from Athens and to return to Athens on the 28th of February. To our surprise many employees were going on strike on the 28th and due to this no flights were going to operate on that day. We scheduled a ferry to return instead to only find out that the ferries would also be affected by the strike. So to make our further obligations we decided to cancel our Naxos trip all together and requested a refund for our return ferry ride. They refused to refund us the full amount even though we attempted to cancel within 12 hours of booking the ferry and the ferry was three days out. We are extremely displeased that under circumstances outside of our control involving the employees of the ferry company we were not alotted a refund. I will never be using this app again and strongly dissuade others from making this mistake as well.

   On September 1st, 2025, I booked a ferry from Sorrento to Capri and back through Ferryhopper for a 9:55 AM departure. The experience was a complete disaster. No ferry arrived at the scheduled time, and after waiting 30 minutes under the sun, I was told by Alilauro staff there was no 9:55 AM ferry—information I was never notified about. This left me and my husband stranded and unwell from the heat. To make matters worse, Alilauro staff laughed at me for having online tickets booked via Ferryhopper, which was humiliating. When I contacted Ferryhopper for a refund, they claimed the ferry operator denied it, stating the tickets were "used" and the trip operated—completely false, as no 9:55 AM ferry existed. Ferryhopper then deflected responsibility, telling me to deal directly with Alilauro, who in turn directed me back to Ferryhopper. This back-and-forth is unacceptable for a booking platform. As a third-party service, Ferryhopper failed to advocate for me or ensure clear communication from the operator. Their customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful, leaving me out of pocket and frustrated. I strongly advise against using Ferryhopper—book directly with ferry operators to avoid such chaos and poor support.

5. 1/5Horrible Customer Experience — Avoid at All Costs

   I’ve never dealt with such an unprofessional and unhelpful customer service team. Ferryhopper closed my support ticket without resolving the issue, and no one bothered to follow up. I was left stranded without my ferry tickets, and every attempt to get help was met with generic, copy-paste responses. The app might look convenient, but when something goes wrong, you’re completely on your own. They do not take accountability, they don’t communicate, and clearly have no process for actually helping paying customers. Save yourself the stress — book directly through the ferry companies instead. Ferryhopper is unreliable, unresponsive, and a total nightmare if you need real assistance.

   The vessels tracking is not accurate at all. In reality, it is totally misleading. Other than that, booking a trip is easy and good

   Καλή για τα εισιτήρια αλλά μέχρι εκεί. Μην τύχει να πέσεις στην ανάγκη τους για κάποιο πρόβλημα ούτε στην δευτέρα παρουσία δεν θα απαντήσουν!
