   I switched our football league over to FanTrax when our previous carrier stopped offering football services. They recommended that we look at FanTrax services. They didn’t offer every stat option that we were used to, but it was otherwise easy to adapt. Most importantly, league members enjoy the offerings and ease of operation. As commissioner, I echo their sentiments. There is a learning curve, but little by little, I have gotten more comfortable. As a result, I elected to move three Baseball leagues from CBS to FanTrax. We received an intriguing offer that was a no brainer. There were many similarities in functionality, so the transition wasn’t difficult. One of the biggest disappointments with CBS was always their slow response to inquiries when I had issues to be resolved. It could take 4-5 attempts before I would get a response. I can’t say it has been perfect with FanTrax. Some representatives are definitely more attentive than others. But service is still worlds better than CBS. I do understand that there are times that I’m not alone with my inquiries. We’re all set to go for the 2025 Baseball season, and looking forward to the fun. If you’re looking to make a change, give FanTrax a serious look. I feel confident in saying you won’t be disappointed.

2. 5/5Best Customization and Customer Service

   I’ve used Fantrax for a couple of years now for our fantasy baseball league. All the other free sites were pretty restrictive in terms of how you could customize your league, and they were very built for football and not baseball, so I never liked the layout on those sites either. But Fantrax even in just the free version has a ton of customization and functionality, to the point that it feels like they’ve thought of every scenario you might want to tweak. But the impetus for the review is how pleased I was by their customer service. There was a strange error where our playoffs were not set up the way I had originally dictated, and it wasn’t letting me change it post draft. I emailed support expecting to get a response that I was SOL, but within 24 hours they just adjusted it without any questions. I was thrilled. Definitely going to keep using Fantrax for years to come for this league.

3. 4/5Overall Great, But Could Use Some Adjustments

   I chose to begin running a Fantasy Hockey League and did some research and looked like Fantrax had the most options for league customizability, which is just what I was looking for. As a commissioner, I love it! I can make whatever I want to happen, well… happen. Also, particularly have had a great expierence with their customer support. They get back to me quickly and have been able to fix or help me fix anything I need. And I don’t have to call them (which I hate), I can just email them. (Shout out Nathan) The main issue I’ve been running into is as a league participant. Changing players and trades and dropping and adding players is such a hassle. I like to adjust lineups in advance, but DO NOT do this on Fantrax. If you want to drop someone, you will have to go and adjust every single line-up you’ve done where that dropped player is active. It’s overly time consuming. I believe this can be fixed with a premium league and you can be allowed to make moves that make your team illegal (which you then fix), but for free leagues, it’s pretty annoying.

4. 5/5Best Fantasy League Managing Site/App..Period

   I started using Fantrax in 2017. By 2018 I had moved all of my managed leagues to their platform and never looked back. In the early days, the owner/creator/developer would actually call me to discuss the questions I left via voicemail. Can’t tell you how awesome that was. Wish I still had that connection. Having said that, as the company grew and their support team did as well, the response to my questions and requests are always answered in 24 hours. Best support out there. I love the ability to setup free and paid leagues based on the options I select when creating or evolving my leagues. The best features in the industry. Not to mention the ability to control the notifications I get. Thank you Fantrax for making my life as a fantasy commissioner and player so easy.

5. 1/5Crashes and Bugs

   Buddies and I tried to launch a dynasty league this year. Started the draft and made it 18 rounds in when the platform crashed. Both the website and the phone app and were down. Fantrax posted on X about the outage, they were aware of and working on the outage, and then deleted their X post at some point in the next few hours. After about 45 mins of struggling, we decided to pause and pick the draft back up the following evening. Well, at some point the next day (after I had checked the draft room several times), the draft had resumed on its own and completed all 36 rounds of the draft, autofilling everyone’s rosters. We’ll stick to playing standard on ESPN, wasted 3 hours on a draft that never even finished. Got a response to my review this morning. They claim they are able to rectify my issue. However, we’ve already completed our draft and set up our league on another platform in the time it took for this response to come. By the way, as you say in your response, it was not an isolated issue that affected specific drafts. Your entire site AND app went down during the most critical time for baseball fantasy drafting.
