5/5Not impressed
Downloaded the app as I enjoy adding to my collection via online auctions and have used PWCC before. I mainly use eBay and have found their app very easy and straightforward to use. I do want to note I have only used the app since Fanatics took it over from PWCC. First impression was good. App was easy to download and sign up for. It’s fairly easy to use and find what you are searching for. I do find it somewhat clunky to use though and bidding is not very user friendly. For example, you can only increase your bid by the amount the app wants you to bid (so $1, $2, etc increment) vs you putting in an amount. You also need to pay the buyer premium so a $20 bid will ultimately be higher (the app does note this). Shipping and handling is a flat fee and starts at $5 and they charge a premium for using credit cards too. Also, they add additional time to the end of the the auction so when I thought I had won my item, it went into an additional bid period allowing the price to change. Lastly, I have not received any updates on my purchase to notify me if/when it will ship or a tracking number. I won an auction on a Sunday night, paid Monday morning and 7 days later still no item. In the meantime, I have won an item from eBay after my Fanatics win, and have already received.

5/5SCAMMERS
I purchased an expensive fixed priced card through PWCC and paid via ach transfer same day. They told me several days later fraud was detected on my account and they froze my account and required extensive information from me to approve my purchase including bank statements. I was dealing with Katie Breninger who is their “trust and safety lead” but she stopped replying to my emails and would never answer my questions directly. I tried contacting them via social media, filing complaints, and every other option I could but was still being kept in the dark as to why they wouldn’t ship my card out. I then asked for a refund but they refused and I couldn’t get one through my bank as it was an ACH transfer. Overall I would NEVER purchase through PWCC/Fanatics Collect again and if you do your research you won’t either. Complete incompetence and shady business practices form this company. Save your money and time and purchase elsewhere.

5/5There’s no scan option and no live help.
I have an Apple iPhone, I’m all updated, I’m looking for this mysterious scan button that the help center says you can find it on account page and collections page. There’s nothing on either page. I’ve asked for a person to chat with besides a bot that’s useless and I have to wait 2 days for a response. The app looks and works awesome besides that. But I downloaded to be able to scan and price my cards before I have to just ship them to Oregon. It’s incredibly frustrating.

1/5Grading
I don’t understand what happened with the grading and pay after they sell through the weekly auction. I’m disabled and don’t have any income the first couple times I submitted went great and paid as soon as I got the invoice. So I submitted 40 more cards and then 55 more after that because I knew the 40 would pay for both submissions and have money left over. It took 50 days to get them back and about 7 days for curation and then I got to wondering about that and they had a hold on them until I pay for the grading. It was a shock because I didn’t have any warning at all on that and that was the big reason for me using PWCC to begin with and now I have all those cards in there and no way to pay for them. I was just wondering if anyone else has this happened to them. On top of all that it seems like my cards don’t bring the price as some of the cards that sold in the previous auction. Sometimes not even half. I know that the grading companies matter too but not as much as I’m loosing though. I’m done with PWCC as soon as I get my card back.

2/5One and Done
I’ve been in the hobby for a while and mostly buy singles, but I wanted to try Fanatics Collect’s Instant Rip just to see how everything works. Dropped $250 on a basketball pack just out of curiosity. I actually pulled a legit grail: a 2014 LeBron James patch card. Their system immediately showed a “value” around $1,400, which made no sense at all. Realistic value is maybe $500 to $600. So I skipped their whole end-of-process valuation and took the $1,200 instant credit. That part was easy. Everything after that… not great. The user interface feels like it was designed by someone who doesn’t collect. It’s clunky, the layout is strange, and finding basic info takes more taps than it should. Their weekly auction structure also feels odd. Maybe there’s a reason for it, but from the outside it just seems limiting. Their Card Ladder pricing is rough. They’re pulling comps from 2022, so you basically have to bounce between eBay and their app to figure out real values. It slows everything down and makes it hard to trust what you’re looking at. I used my $1,200 credit toward an overpriced 1980 Topps Bird–Magic–Dr. J rookie PSA 7 listed at $1,600. I paid the extra $400 cash to cover the difference and added it to my collection. Cool. Then I tried to withdraw it. They hit me with a $75 fee. $48 to “withdraw” the card, with no explanation or breakdown. $25 shipping. Plus tax. Paying $75 just to get a card in hand is wild. It makes the whole thing feel like a cash grab built on keeping you inside their ecosystem and charging you every time you try to leave it. At this point I’m deleting the app and won’t be using it again. That’s just my experience, but it was enough for me.

We've got three things for you in this update: Guide prices now show their source so you always know what's behind the number (Card Ladder sales data, catalog value, manual appraisal, or pending). You can now search the full Fanatics Collect catalog straight from your Collection tab and add any card directly. Folders now show accurate item counts right on the list. We also fixed a handful of things: "View in Collection" now takes you to the right page, swipe-to-go-back works from card detail pages in Search, the keyboard no longer pops up when you return from a card page, your selected grade is now visually highlighted, and a couple of menu labels were corrected.

This update brings guide price polish, a cleaner selling experience for Red Rookie cards, and a handful of fixes across collection management. What's new? Guide prices now show their source with the correct styling on card detail pages Cards eligible for Red Rookie Redemption now correctly show a "Selling unavailable" banner, so it's clear the card can't be listed while a redemption is pending Empty and no-results states in folders are now properly centered on Add Items and Folder Details screens Bug fixes: Fixed navigation tabs missing for some users on the Collection screen Tapping anywhere on a collection item card now opens it, not just the title area "Request a correction" from long press now pre-populates the card title in the form

Swipe through all active streams. Swiping up through shows to go through every active livestream. One continuous feed, no dead ends. Long press on show cards. Long pressing any show card now shows a menu with quick options — watch, share, and more — without having to open the show first. The active break stays pinned in Quick Shop. The break that's currently being ripped now always appears at position #1 in the shop regardless of whether its spots are sold out. Once the break completes, it moves to the sold section. Sticky tabs on shop profiles. The Shows and Replays tabs on a seller's shop profile now stick to the top when you scroll, so you can always switch between them without scrolling back up. Chat keyboard improvements. Swiping down on the chat input now dismisses the keyboard. Swiping between streams is also blocked while the keyboard is open, so you no longer accidentally skip to another show mid-message. Wallet total currency fix. Fixed an issue where USD and GBP balances were incorrectly added together as the same currency for international users.

No more frozen timers or grayed-out bid buttons. Late bids are decided server-side so you never lose a bid to a race condition Spin wheel now correctly appears with exactly 2 random auction spots remaining Break and spot titles no longer get cut off. Full product names now display in the shop PiP fixes: loading spinner no longer sticks after restoring a stream, and closing PiP no longer leaves the stream screen open in the background The Live home feed has been cleaned up. What's new: Livestream audio now behaves reliably throughout your session. If something else is playing when you open a show, it pauses and the stream takes over. If you muted a show, it stays muted when you return to it. When you leave a show, your other audio picks back up where it left off. Sub-breaks now include a short explanation in the break detail page so buyers know what they are before purchasing, matching how serialized spots. Giveaway rules are now accessible directly in the stream. Seller ratings and reviews have been refined: all category ratings are now required when a buyer gives 1 to 4 stars, a Cancel button appears on the final review step, long review text no longer gets obscured while typing, and sellers without any ratings yet now show a "Not yet rated" state matching web Bug fixes: Fixed an issue where entering the shop while a show was playing in PiP was closing both the stream and shop and kicking you back to the home tab PiP video was disappearing for guest users when navigating to the Marketplace screen, while audio kept playing The in-show wallet was showing stale account funds and rewards balances after an update
