1. 2/5Bro what the heck

   Bruh… you can’t stay on this app for one month before it logs you out. I’ve had this app for a pretty long time and I’ll be honest: it is helpful to see my grades and my homework and my classmates. But like why does it log me out after just logging back in like 2 weeks ago?!? It’s unnecessary and I can’t find my password for it so I’m basically logged out. At the time we’re going into a new school year so I wanted to see what new kids were gonna be in my class, but nah; it just decides, “You know what… I feel like he wants to have a bad day today. Let’s log him out for no reason😄” and then I get in the app and I’m like, “What the Johnson?!?!? How am I logged out?!?!😭” So yeah there’s that. And on the other hand; even in the few weeks that I am logged in, the app is so delayed. My teachers will be like, “I put the grades in FACTS.” And I go home and look at my grades and LITERALLY NOTHING CHANGED!! Like y’all what are we doing?!?! But overall this app is OKAY because it is very helpful to see my grades, considering I have been an all a student for my whole life and I can’t really be without seeing my grades. But the app definitely loses a lot of points for all the stuff I listed earlier. This app=🆗

2. 2/5App is getting worse instead of better

   I have used this app (previously RenWeb) for 8 years. I always thought it was okay. Not terrible & not amazing. Hoped for some better functionality, but if it would just go back to how it worked 2-3 years ago I could live with it. Now I am constantly logged out. I seriously think I was originally logged in for 4 years. When I do get in half of the functions give me an error. It keeps making me change my password only to log me in and then say 404 function not found. I also get told to clear my cache which I have done multiple times with no success. I have reinstalled. Your app is useless if I can’t even get a simple phone number from it when I need it. Please make your app usable, especially in August when everyone is back to school. You have made it completely useless.

3. 1/5Unreliable and glitchy

   I downloaded this thinking it would be easier than logging into the website. But after logging in, it said my kid’s school wasn’t set up with a FACTS account. Which it most certainly is. So the app was completely useless for me since all of the pages said that, despite it recognizing my account. So I asked Apple for a refund and they denied it, twice! So I logged back into the app again to ask FACTS for a refund but now I see it suddenly “works” (in the sense that I can see all of the pages now without that error message), but the app is terribly glitchy. When you click on items from the hamburger menu, it doesn’t stay responsive for mobile and things overlap each other. It looks like this was designed super poorly, which makes me wonder how our school is entrusting our children’s private info with a company like this. PowerSchool is so much better but they were hacked a couple years ago. So I worry that a smaller company like this could also be vulnerable if they haven’t invested much in their app.

   Please pay SOMEONE to fix the bug that constantly logs parents out and then says the log in info isn’t correct. I have 10,000 things to do a day as a parent and wrangling this app (we are required to use) should not be this hard. I keep trying to log my parent volunteer hours (which shouldn’t be buried under the family icon) and it shows a check mark and “insert value” under description. Simultaneously the keyboard vanishes so you can’t type. Then if you pull up the keyboard the cursor moves out of the box you need. You also can’t select the check or the option below it. None of my hours have been logged despite trying several times on my facts iPhone app.

5. 1/5Log In Issues

   The biggest issue with the app is the difficulty logging in. You never know when you open the app if it will allow face recognition to log in or if it’s wiped the log in information and you have to put it all in. If you get the password wrong more than twice it locks you out for 10 minutes. Banking app are easier to log into than this. Why does it clear the face recognition option to log in? If I am ordering lunch it has my payment method memorized but if I am paying a one off incidental invoice I have to put it in. Overall a lack of consistency with the aspects of the app that provide convenience to the user is my reason for giving this app one star. It is a known complaint from users for many years and they have not made an effort to correct the issues.
