  1. 5/5Very convenient

I've found Expo Go to be an absolute game-changer for my React Native development projects. It drastically simplifies the development process by allowing me to instantly preview updates on real devices, thanks to its live reload feature. With access to a wide range of APIs and components, I can rapidly prototype and test new ideas without the hassle of traditional build and deployment processes. Although it may not fit every project, especially those requiring custom native modules, for most of my work, the efficiency and ease of use are unmatched. Expo Go has significantly boosted my productivity and made development a smoother, more enjoyable experience.

  2. 5/5Worked right out of the box!

Discovered this through a course on Udemy for react-native development and I have to say that this app has allowed me to get straight into coding with very minimal effort. It just takes a little setup on your pc or laptop from the terminal and your good to go. It’s very helpful and interacts with the pc through local network. Any changes you make to the react native app will reflect directly onto mobile in real-time. It’s awesome for development. Thank you for making this!

  3. 1/5RUN! Doesn't work correctly

When you first set up your app, they don't tell you that it will nickel and dime you. The system says it's ready to go, but when you run it on your phone, you get a whole bunch of errors and every time you try to get the error fixed, it charges you. I spent half my credits to get one app to work on their end, but I was unable to get the program to work on my iPhones (5 different iPhones). I spoke to numerous Customer Support people who only said delete the Internet cache. I would screen record me doing exactly what they would say to do and it's would not work. They set up a Google Meet meeting, but never showed up. I requested my money back twice and it was ignored.. RUN waste of money!!!!!

  4. 5/5Starting from almost no knowledge, this app has all the tools I needed

I have little coding background and no coding formal education but I am intent on making an app better than Google Calendar for scheduling and I have learned a ton in the process. If it wasn’t for Expo, I would have had to struggle a lot more to get the little progress that I have made. Expo’s error messages have taught me a lot of things as well! Man I hate coding! I hope I can get a job in the industry! Sure feels good when it works!

  5. 5/5Expo is incredible

Using Expo is one of the most incredible development experiences I have had in my 20 years of development. I feel sorry for mobile developers who don’t use it. Their job is so much harder and slower. It also solved the problem of my underpowered laptop and quickly took me from a react developer to a mobile app developer!
