3/5Good device, mediocre app
The device itself is well designed and pretty usable/intuitive, but app itself is unfortunately pretty poorly designed, unstable, and, bafflingly, REQUIRED TO USE YOUR super expensive medical device. The app looks ok, but there are some really basic features and UX safeguards missing. A few examples: 1. Accidentally closing the app makes you lose progress on your session without warning or any way to manually set the timer back to where you were. 2. If the device battery dies during a session, same issue—no credit, no help. 3. If the app loses bluetooth connection to the device, again, automatically lose all session progress. 4. The app can just randomly decide to lock you out, delete your account and ALL of your session progress. Has happened to me once already. Had to start back at day 1 after about 20 days of progress.

2/5Unreliable app for an expensive medical device
The device is only as good as the app that is required to use it. I was almost going to provide a glowing video review for the device which has greatly improved my sleep apnea symptoms UNTIL over a week ago when the app showed I needed to wait over 500 hours to do a session. It is in countdown mode and the app software specialist has yet been able to fix this problem for me. I now have Lost all trust in this device. Sleep apnea can cause multiple health issues and I thought I found a lifesaver in this device. Unfortunately I have come to realize that this therapy may not be sustainable. Sad that what I thought was finally the answer to my sleep apnea is nothing more than a pipe dream. They need a backup plan for when the app fails. I do not yet know the status of the fix . My app is still counting down with 200+ hours to go. In the meantime, I am losing sleep😭

1/5Super frustrating
I am so tired of this app quitting for one reason or another during the session without any notification (a sound would be really helpful so that a person would know to go over to the app to restart it). I try to use the time during the sessions to be productive doing other things, and I am trying to distract myself from focusing on the physical experience of using the device as it is not especially pleasant. After some period of time, I will go over to the app to confirm that the session is complete, and then I learn that it cut off at some point. To get credit, I have to do the entire session again. I have messaged with customer service countless times on the app about this issue, and no response has been satisfactory. I have some other complaints about the entire experience that I will save for another day.

1/5Trash app with trash customer support
1) you can’t use the device without the app 2) the app is absolute trash. Seriously I don’t know how they made such a buggy app 3) the bugs in the app can make it so you can’t progress, but you NEED to progress in order to get to the “maintenance” phase of treatment. 4) customer support is really ONLY in-app chat. But the in-app support chat has NO way of doing a follow up reply. So there’s no way to correct their misunderstanding of the situation. They’re also just really unhelpful, and make the most obvious suggestions. This app exists solely to force you to buy new mouthpieces every 90 days. It’s an electronic lockout to a $1k+ medical device. This company does not deserve your money. They clearly spend almost zero on the app. They spend almost zero on customer support (and the replies are clearly AI generated despite taking 24-48hr to respond). The device itself is extremely cheaply made. This is planned obsolescence on steroids and honestly should be illegal. If this company went bankrupt, I wouldn’t even care despite the fact it would effectively brick my $1k investment.

5/5I’ve had great customer service
I appreciate ANYBODY who is trying to make an alternative to Cpap. Some of us poor miserable souls are desperate for a good night’s sleep and Cpap just makes us feel worse every morning. It is too soon to tell yet if this device is helping lower my apneas. However, I’ve had great customer service. The app worked great at first, then stopped working after my phone updated. I emailed the company and called them and they mailed me a new device that works with my phone. Very much appreciated.
