   Having used this app for some time now, my rating is not the impulse review based on a quick first impression nor is this a review in exchange for an additional feature. In all honesty I am leaving this review because I believe this app deserves it. With a very user friendly interface, this quick to learn app has a ton of amazing and individual features that I have not found on any other apps in the iTunes store. This is not your ordinary plain Jane effects app for the boring editors out there that are looking to make a boring video / photo look just as boring as it was when they took it. This app is for the extreme abstract artists looking to make something never seen before! With an incredible attention to detail this app will not disappoint if you use just for fun or for something more. With an ability to also adjust each of parameters of all of the effects you can use this constantly without the worry of all of your work looking the same. You have to try this out to learn for yourself, but its absolutely worth it. Some of the best “effects” not filters out there.

2. 4/5Rate to unlock an effect is sus but I’ll overlook...

   Seems a bit like extortion, like, how do you know as a developer, that you are getting honest feedback at that point? Whatever happened to an app standing on it’s on merits and moving up the app store charts based on how good it actually is? Yeah, I get that certain developers have better backing, or are by higher profile brands/cozier with Apple etc; but those are not the end users’ problems, so don’t make us unwilling martyrs for your cause! Now that caveat aside this app has promise, but you should be able to to tweak and edit the effects more and save/ build custom effects with a few of the already featured starting points, like audio-reactivity, movement, gyro, touch/tap/swipe, filtering, warping, wet and dry blending, be able to combine 2 or more effects and have sliders for how they react to each other (in series or parallel) and you should be able to have favorites so you can open the app and access those quickly. And finally it would be a huge step in the right direction if you could make chains of effects that could be sequenced through in time to detected bpm of audio and touch/tap...in fact if it had audiobus support and could receive MIDI/OSC clock information you would never have to bribe a user for their opinion again! You would be right there with Hyperspektiv, and Glitché Pro, knocking them off their respective pedestals in no-time. Hopefully d’efect, the afforementioned apps, touchviz, or some other app will start to incorporate this soon...Otherwise I gotta roll up my sleeves and brush up on my Swift and cobble something together myself! Ha!

3. 3/5There are so many other things out there

   Honestly, this is a pretty sick app. If you don’t want any social media content like Snapchat, this might be the next thing in mind. Another thing is that the effects are neat. You can turn yourself into a waterfall, make shards of glass fall from the air, or become a kaleidoscope. Although, if you are like me and don’t want to waste your money on filters, the options are pretty limited. In my mind, I think of this, “if people want to be smart and let our economy go down, I suggest making them mentally claustrophobic by limiting they’re options and making them wish they had bought premium.” Well, again, in my mind I also think, “So if you limit there options and they do not have premium, doesn’t that just mean more and more people deleting the app daily? Well that is your fault for letting the economy go down, not ours.” Also, the controls are pretty late and stuck. I swipe down to get a new. Right? But nothing happens. Then my screen gets frozen for swiping down. So I don’t know what happened. I know it is not my device because I have the new iPad iOS and I got it about two years ago. But if you did get premium, then have a great time making awesome vids and potentially deleting the app, wasting you money. That was my review! Have a great day! 🌸

4. 5/5Absolute Best Effects!

   I’ve been a Picsart user for years now paying the monthly fee to access all of their features and I have to say they are hands down the best app for editing, creating, drawing, designing or whatever it is you want to accomplish photo, pic and video related. I’ve come to be a master at all of the tools making my designs the best in my line of work and there is no other app out here that even comes close to touching Picsart. If you use canva, come check out Picsart. Now, I ran across this app editing a video on Picsart and I’m blown away yet again at the level Picsart has taken themselves to yet again knock another app out of the ball park. This too is like no other video editing, effects and filter app out there and I’m a true Picsart fan, loyal and true. Only using what they have to offer. Thanks again for another awesome app to have on my iPhone. You r made me a ton of money with my designs using your apps. Can’t wait for the next idea they bring to light.

5. 4/5Interesting & effective way to get a review

   This app works just as advertised. You can create some interesting video & photo effects but is best with video effects. The effects with photo are interesting but seem to make more sense with video. With video, it will place a distortion filter on videos being recorded to create different effects. In order to see or have one of the effects, you must write a review...pretty good way to unlock filters in your apps development team...if it actually does unlock the interlaced effect filter. All in all it’s a fun novelty video app for quaint moments for Snapchat types of people or anyone wanting short vids of themselves with easy effects. For longer videos, the effets are not very subtle and apply to either everything moving or everything in frame which easily becomes distracting for long periods of time. Overall, fun occasional use type of app but in a world where everyone wants more and more megapixels for higher level of detail in their videos, it is just a novelty use app. I say that because the filters distort what’s in frame so right away, you lose quality to have a kitschy effect.
