It has a feature I could not find in any other app: the ability to enter custom exchange rates, which more accurately reflect what I actually get at the bank or money changer. One never gets the official rate, so apps that have no alternative to it give you an inaccurate picture of what that Oriental carpet is really costing you in your home currency. Can't wait for my next trip abroad to try it out.

UPDATE: The program is 32-bits, and will soon be unable to run in the latest iOS. It has not been updated for almost 4.5 years. Downgraded to 3 stars. ORIGINAL: The program works well. Improvements that could be done: 1. It's a bit confusing when entering in the number of currency units. The value you are editing is gray, and the resulting number is white. To me, gray indicates the field is not editable, when, in this case, it is A little triangle does indicate the conversion direction. 2. When adding a new conversion, you can't specify the currencies at the point of adding them. This is done back on the main screen, it's an extra, some what confusing step.

4/5Good currency converter
I have been using this program for nearly half a year. It is up to date and requires relatively few keystrokes to operate. You can choose the rate from the three letter currency name. One minor changes would convince me to give it 5 stars: • give users a choice of how to order the currency that you want to shift from and to. It would be nice if the list could be sorted by date of last use, country name, currency name, etc. Finally, it would be great to provide a graph of currency rate over time.

One of the cleanest, most functional, easy to use apps around. Updates global rates to all currencies when you open it so you can even use off line or when no connection. If you travel at all, this is a must have. No advertisement claim is spot on. To the programmers: Fantastic job on this app!!

5/5Best currency app for travel
This is absolutely my favorite currency app for travel. I find it has a very easy to use interface. Only takes a couple of minutes to pick you favorite currencies. And just a swipe to switch between your favorites.
