1. 3/5Fantastic app, with one super annoying flaw

   This is a great no frills (but none are needed) ebook app. I wish it supported opds, but the methods it has for downloading books are adequate and syncing is fantastic. The only issue — which for me is a huge one — is that it constantly changes the volume on my phone. I suspect it’s a side effect of whatever they use to make it so you can turn pages using the volume buttons, but I set the volume to 0 and the app immediately turns it up. After a bit it will always be at 50%. I can’t have my phone making noise unexpectedly so that’s a total deal breaker, and there is no way to turn that feature off. Fix that and I’d gladly say 5 stars on this, but instead I’ll probably have to stop using it :(

2. 5/5This app is great!!!!!

   I LOVE your app!!!! Finally, an app where I can download and organize my story files, AND sync them across devices! I download stories from a free website, AO3, and the ibooks app, after a particular update a couple years ago, won't keep the title of the books or their authors on the covers anymore. Not only does this app retain all of that information, it also has the shelves system, and allows you to further organize those files by author, title, or date! The only two changes that I would like is to be able to manually change the order of files on a shelf when I choose, because while loading my files in, I got a few installments in some of my series out of order, and because the app does SUCH a good job of keeping me from accidentally making duplicate files, it has unfortunately remembered those mistakes, as well! (The feature keeping me from making duplicates is a GREAT feature though, I have never seen its like!) I would also really like to be able to change the order of the Shelves in some fashion, preferably manually but having the option to do so alphabetically would be really cool, too~! It would actually also be cool if authors were sorted alphabetically when you choose to sort books that way as well, but honestly just being able to have them sorted at ALL is really great~! I also really enjoy the aesthetics of the app too~! The way that the left hand margin has the rainbow colored chapter markers is my new favorite thing!!!!!! The incredible options to change background, font, text size, margins, etc etc are SO GOOD TOO!!!! This is the first time in YEARS that I've had a reader that I was actually HAPPY with. Edited to add, I think it would be cool if we could filter books to see which ones don’t already have a shelf, too. And it would be super cool if I could add a book to a given shelf from the reader itself! And if we could open links in our browser.

   I’ve been using this app for a little over a year now, and it’s stayed the best I’ve ever used, so I decided it was safe for me to write a review. This is one of the best ebook readers, I swear!! Seriously, it’s such a life saver. It’s so simple, and makes it so you can access your ebooks, pdfs, fan fiction, (whatever you like to read) while offline. All I gotta do is download my book, share it to the app, and boom; it’s on my “shelf” and I’m set to go and read whenever, wherever. You can change the font and its size, brightness, color of the pages, and interlinears so your reading experience is more comfortable and accessible for you. I’m honestly so shocked that this app is free considering how good it is, but I’m not complaining lol.

4. 3/5Good, easy to use, basic reader

   Nothing fancy, but that’s what I like about it. Clean and simple to use, with several customization options. It’s a bit of a hassle trying to add books because there are several steps. But it’s definitely not hard. And it’s free. Haven’t found a paid one that can compete. It’s really dependable and I’ve never had any issues. My one complaint is for some reason while the app is open in the foreground, notifications volume increases much too loud. It only happens in this app, even when the phone volume is down. Super annoying. And it will force an update, which is bad if you have limited data and are away from home. And for some reason, now a stupid Santa sleigh keep floating across the screen when I open a book. One star removed just for that.

5. 3/5Could be amazing but needs a few functions

   I really love this app and use it everyday. Complete game changer for pdf reading. If there was some way to have everything synced to your account not google so you can read on any device, share accounts with others. It would also be great to have organization outside of shelves like color coding, a way to arrange the main screen order of books by dragging them up and down,ability to send others a link to the pdf. Changing the shelf that a book is in should be simpler, instead of removing from shelf then adding to another I should be able to click/unclick on the same screen but for whatever reason your original selection is locked in and you can’t remove it or click something else. Also now that I have many books in the app it often crashes. very disappointing as books don’t take up much space and that’s the whole point of the app. Had to lower from 5 stars :/ (yes I have enough storage) There’s no way to share or export your books after you add them and they are not stored using the files app so it’s a nightmare moving them somewhere else as the google drive sync doesn’t work. The app itself is slow to add books and click in and out of things, it’s not as optimized as it could be. What I once liked, I must move on from as this hasn’t been improved in the time I’ve used it.

   I absolutely love this app. I have been using it for 2-3 years. the settings are amazing. books are easily readable and manageable. i read approximately 30+ books by this app. heavily recommended!
