   They do have good variety of food ideas but the create meal plan needs to be fixed and has some issues on the actual app. They will have your lunch as gravy (recipe to make gravy as your lunch lol!!!) and breakfast that is more for a dinner meal (they put my breakfast spaghetti or noodles.) When you try to edit the create meal prep, it will log you out and have to start all over again (which it took my 30 minutes and had to start all over again.. no one has that type of time and that is how you could loose customers). Another thing it won’t show snack ideas, or super quick meal preps you could do that are so simple that people have not thought of. There is a lot of editing in the app that needs to be fixed and need more variety for your customers they can enjoy.

2. 2/5Several noteable issues

   I signed up for the account pro with the 50% off yearly plan. I’ve been working with the app and exploring its features for the last several hours and there are a handful of things that make this app much less useful than I was hoping 1- gluten or wheat are not usable keywords for ingredients to avoid. This is a big one for me as I can’t have gluten 2-menu plan suggested gives lots of creative meals, but I can’t adjust to double a recipe. I’d like to cook the same dinners for my family of four so this makes it challenging 3-recipes cannot be altered to either eliminate an ingredient you don’t want or to substitute with an item that you do. This makes the meal logging function far less accurate 4-it would be great if the grocery list could be created by manually typing what you need. It’s annoying to only have the select all then “de-select” the majority of stuff you already have on hand 5-even though I bought into the Pro version, every time I open the app it offers me the pro version and then when I click the “X” it offers me the reduced rate AND FINALLY after I “X” out of that it recognizes me and takes me to my profile Home Screen. 6-lastly recipes do not consistently reflect pictures. For example one breakfast bowl recipe showed raspberries and chia seeds in the photo but did NOT include these things in the ingredient list so that would throw off both the grocery list and the logging function.

3. 3/5It doesn’t give you an accurate estimate of calories ect.

   I’ll start by saying it has good recipes but if your like me that wants to make your own food with protein and veggies and just want to enter it in what you are making and for this app to give you the correct or try to even be close to calculate the calories, protein and fats you won’t get it right. Even when trying to edit or correct the portions it doesn’t update it or lets you put in the amount or quantity you are using. It is frustrating and I think about getting my refund back but I’ll keep it just for the recipes they have. I really don’t recommend if you are trying to keep track of your daily intake. Find something better.

4. 1/5App not working properly

   Very disappointed, I paid for the annual premium membership trusting that Eatr would be a useful tool… and they basically just kept my money. I’m not even two days into using it and I’m already having serious issues: the meal logging by photo and text doesn’t work at all, it freezes or doesn’t register anything. On top of that, the recipe section is completely empty, nothing loads. To make it worse, I’ve already sent two emails to the support team about these problems and I still haven’t received any response. I can’t believe an app I’m paying for yearly has such basic issues and zero customer support. I’m extremely frustrated because I trusted the service, and instead of making my life easier it’s only caused me headaches. I really hope they address these problems soon, because it’s impossible to use the app like this.

5. 1/5Unable to sign in on app.

   My progress keeps getting erased because I’m unable to sign in on the app. I click sign in, it directs me to enter email and I get the email it says successful authentication then reopens the app and just sits and spins. Stays so it’s not signed in. Was hoping to be able to share the meal plan with my husband for cooking and grocery shopping but can’t when I can’t sign in. Used for 1 week and went to create the second weeks meal plan to go grocery shopping. It created the exact same meal plan from week 1. I can manually go in and edit the recipes but that negates the reason I got the app for ease of planning different meals each week with Ingredients. Very disappointed. Additionally the “American” ingredients and instructions are not in tsp/tbsp, but in oz which is just not what we are used to when following recipes. Wouldn’t recommend this app.
