2. 1/5Used harbor one for years until Eastern bank took over!

   When my original local bank was taken over by Eastern Bank I had to go into the bank in person for a new banking card and help w/ app but I hours after receiving my new debit card from bank noticed via notification that 300$ had been taken out of my account via atm! I never use ATM and was shocked so called immediately the main bank bc the manager of the bank in abington Massachusetts was the lady that actually Made my new debit card right there at bank only for me to find out later that evening that not only did she take 300$ she made two debit cards gave me one and took one herself also after pulling 300$ from my account she turned around and used the extra card hours later at cvs a pharmacy i dont use so knew it wasn’t me as soon as I saw the charge!! Then she attempted to pull another amount in the hundreds, luckily by then the fraud center had shut down other card i had no clue.

3. 1/5No personal touch

   We came from Northmark. With them over 25 years. It was so easy and so comfortable. Was like a family. Sold to Cambridge…. Absolutely the worst service. Now, not even a year later, now Eastern. Just think how we feel. We are treated like strangers, no considerations given. Absolute the coldest people. No one wants to help. There is no personal touch like at Northmark. We are leaving as soon as we can. Trying to transfer things to somewhere else. We are small business owners, but we did circulate close to 10 million in cash flow through our establishments. I guess in your view that is peanuts. No one cares about us. No personal contact. After all these years in business, losing the closeness of Northmark has hurt us tremendously. It’s really sad how the little guy who needs some help in This economy gets nothing. I’m sorry we aren’t your billionaires. Hopefully bye bye soon. Covid hurt us bad and now we’re dealing banks who don’t help.

4. 2/5Much room for improvement.

   I get no notice when my account is debited from either a phone bill or a large transfer to another bank. I get nothing. On the other hand when deposits are made, I get a text. Usually around 6 AM. Not the best time for a text from my bank. They recently updated their online webpages. I’m not sure what for. It has become more confusing then ever. And things that I used to be able to do. I cannot do anymore. They should get a refund from their web designer. If you have a certificate of deposit and let it run out and don’t do anything your money gets rolled over into a savings account that earns some fraction of one percent. This is not a bank working for me.

5. 4/5Need better alerts

   Please add an alert for when any activity hits an account. HarborOne had this, as do all my other banking and credit card apps. I mean, there’s an alert for when a check number clears. Really? Checks are a relic of the past. In fact one bank I use doesn’t even provide personal checks anymore. Point is, if you can provide an alert for that, I can’t imagine how difficult it is to add an alert for any transactions, deposit or withdrawal. That would make it so much easier to catch fraud if it ever happened.
