DualPane Pro now includes improved duplicate and compare workflows: • Folder Compare can filter results by Only in left, Only in right and In both. • Files shown in In both now support long-press actions and can be inspected to compare versions by size, dates and SHA-256 content hash. • Duplicate Finder now also supports long-press actions for each duplicate file, including Info, Rename and Delete with confirmation. • Help has been updated with guidance for the new compare and duplicate management features. • Additional reliability improvements for file inspection and path handling.

Added Saved Workspaces for DualPane Pro: • Save the current left and right folders as a named workspace. • Reopen both panes later with one tap. • Workspaces restore folder access securely, including external folders where available. • The menu has been refreshed with a cleaner full-screen layout.

Added clearer access to external file locations and help guidance for connecting external sources through the Files app. • Use "Open Folder in Active Pane" to work with iCloud Drive, OneDrive, other cloud providers or server locations when available through Files. • These locations can be used as pane sources for browsing, copying, moving, comparing and saved workspaces. • Refined menu presentation, additional UI polish and reliability improvements.

Added statistics with device storage information in the free version and extended storage and pane statistics in the pro tier.

Added content difference hints in Folder Compare, same-name files are now flagged when their file sizes differ. Also added an optional content check for matched files, so you can confirm whether files are identical or different. Included an export feature for Folder Compare reports, making it easy to share or save comparison results. Small refinements for a clearer, more useful compare workflow.

Improved folder compare with clearer colour coding and a cleaner results layout. Added verify content to check same-size files with SHA-256 and copy/move actions for items that appear only in the left or right pane. Improved copy/move conflict handling with options to skip conflicts, replace existing items or cancel. Also added duplicate for files from the long-press menu.

Select mode now stays active, making it easier to choose multiple files or folders with simple taps. Archive browsing now supports extracting only selected items instead of the whole archive. Pane widths can now be adjusted (drag the divider between the two panes left or right), with an option in Settings to reset them to the standard layout.

Added new appearance options with Standard, Compact and Modern presentation styles. Also added theme choices so that you can adjust DualPane’s accent colour. Kept Standard as the default layout, with a reset option to return to the classic DualPane look. Improved PDF handling so that compatible PDF files open in the proper preview instead of being mistaken for text. Also improved archive handling with clearer messaging for password-protected archives.

Added advanced recursive search with filters for file name, extension, modified date and file size. Also included current-folder filtering using the same advanced criteria. Search and filter results can now be cleared directly from the pane header. Improved file browsing workflows for narrowing large folders and nested file trees.

Improved startup appearance handling for custom pane background colours. Fixed a brief visual delay where the app could momentarily show the system background before applying the selected pane colour.

Improved file-conflict handling when copying or moving files. Choose to keep both versions, replace existing files or cancel the operation. Conflicting files can now be saved automatically with numbered names. Also added swipe-down dismissal to the menu, general usability improvements and refinements.

Tap anywhere in a pane to make it active — even in empty areas. Resize panes more easily with a wider divider and clearer drag handle. New small presentation option displays more files and folders at once. Additional interface refinements and usability improvements.

By popular request, the bottom toolbar has been reordered for a more natural workflow: New, Mark, Rename, Copy, Move and Delete. The New button now lets you create either a folder or a plain-text file directly in the current folder. Copy and Move within the same pane now work more naturally: Select your items, choose Copy Within Pane or Move Within Pane, navigate to the destination folder, then tap Copy Here or Move Here. Improved file-conflict handling with options to keep both items, replace existing items, skip conflicts or cancel the operation. Additional safeguards prevent invalid folder copy and move operations.

You can now share multiple selected files and folders directly from the Mark menu — no archive required. Sharing as an archive remains available whenever you prefer a single archive.

Improved CSV file handling on Apple Silicon Macs (Designed for iPad): CSV files now open in the system preview for better compatibility with applications installed on your Mac. CSV files can still be edited directly in DualPane using the Edit command.
