Drivio 1.1.0 brings Live Share, smarter place learning, and a pass of polish to make everyday recording more reliable. LIVE SHARE Send a link and let family or friends follow your drive on a real-time map. They'll see your route draw out ahead of your car, your current speed, and how long you've been on the road. • Three camera modes — Overview, Track, and Drive (heading-up) — so viewers can see the whole route, follow your car, or rotate the map the way you're driving. • Pickups just work: the viewer's own blue dot is on the map too, so both of you can watch the distance close. • Marker labels show how fresh each GPS fix is ("3s ago") so viewers can account for network delay. • Smart status detection tells viewers the difference between "Driving", "Stopped at a light", weak signal, and a driver who's truly offline. • Shares stay open across trips — viewers see "Parked" between legs instead of a confusing "Ended". • New Received Shares and My Shares screens: everyone remembers which shares are active, which are parked, and which have ended. FREQUENT PLACES Drivio now learns the places you park most often — home, office, school drop-off, errands — and lets you review them in Settings. • Tap a place to see its full visit history. • "Trust" to pin a place, "Ignore" to quietly stop monitoring it, or delete it entirely along with all related history. BETTER TRIP DETECTION • Fewer false starts and phantom stops, thanks to stricter GPS accuracy filtering and a smarter cooldown system. • Trips now start with your last parked location pre-filled, so the map never flashes open on the wrong continent. • Geofence monitoring stays warm between trips, so Drivio wakes up faster when the next drive begins. WIDGET • A new three-layer refresh strategy respects iOS's daily budget — fresh data right after a trip ends, periodic updates through the day, and honest "paused" copy when the budget runs out. POLISH • New poster-style covers for finished journeys and auto-generated trip titles. • A reorganized Settings tab that puts important things up front. • Better dark-mode contrast on the speed badge, map pins, and the onboarding screens. • App Lock with Face ID / Touch ID to keep your drive history private on shared devices. RELIABILITY • Live Share writes retry automatically with exponential backoff during spotty coverage. • Transient network hiccups no longer flash red "Connection lost" banners in the viewer — the staleness counter is the single source of truth now. • Assorted crash fixes around Bluetooth reconnects and app resume. Smarter trip detection - Geofence arrival no longer cuts your trip short. Previously, entering your home or work zone could end a recording while you were still driving toward your parking spot. Now the geofence acts as a hint — the trip only finalizes once your car actually stops, saving you from lost segments on the last stretch home. - Fixed a bug where low-speed trip interrupts (e.g. golf carts, parking-lot crawls) never fired because an internal timer wasn't being set. - Reduced phantom trip candidates caused by motion-sensor bursts when the phone wakes from sleep. - Empty ghost trips from failed candidate cycles are now deleted automatically instead of cluttering your trip list. Live sharing improvements - Route lines now appear on the viewer's map. A CloudKit sharing issue prevented the viewer from seeing the driver's track — fixed. - The driver's parked/active status updates reliably now, even if the initial status write fails. - Fixed the viewer querying the wrong CloudKit zone, which could cause an empty map on connect. Bluetooth - AirPods and other personal audio devices connecting mid-drive no longer trigger a false "car disconnected" event that could end your trip early. Other - "School dropoff" places renamed to "Quick stop" — the pattern matches gyms, drive-thrus, and other short stops, not just schools. - Stability and diagnostic improvements under the hood.

Live Map - Your position now shows as Apple's familiar blue dot during active trips — smoother, more accurate positioning powered by Apple's sensor fusion. - Route trail extends in real time to follow the blue dot as you drive. Live Share - Observer camera now smoothly follows the driver at any speed — no more falling behind on highways. - Network status icon shows connection health (green/yellow/red) so observers know if data is fresh. - Faster updates: driver position refreshes every 5 seconds, route trail every 15 seconds. Trip Detection - Improved reliability: detection engine rewritten for cleaner, more predictable behavior. - Switching audio from car Bluetooth to phone speaker no longer falsely ends your trip. - Connecting AirPods or other personal audio while driving no longer triggers a false trip end. Stability - Fixed a crash that could occur during live sharing under heavy CloudKit load. - Fixed a SwiftUI rendering crash on iOS 18.
