My wife and I are planning a trip to Türkiye and needed a translation app. Downloaded a bunch of apps and had a native speaker tell us which one she thought was best. She picked Dialog and said the Turkish to English was spot on. English to Turkish was also good but said it used simple words to convey the translation. Not that that is bad because the jest does get conveyed. Another strong point is that it lets you finish your sentence before translating. Other apps cut you off mid sentence. The only negative is the pricing. Seems a bit high to me. Will end up getting a week and then will cancel the subscription.

I like this app because it helps to communicate with foreigners especially when you travel if you don’t understand a language this helps a lot google translate or a dictionary won’t be necessary anymore after using this app I highly recommend using this app it’s like you’re having a conversation but at the same time it works like talking back-and-forth

3/5My Dialog app isn’t working
At the moment I give 0 stars to this app and their company. I paid $99 for the year and it had worked wonderfully for me for quite awhile. I actually paid $99 for a second year. However a month or so after renewing my subscription, it’s not working. I wrote to Maple Media and explained the issue (ad pops up whenever I try to use it again) and they responded with directions that are complicated. I just want to be able to use this app again. What’s going on with it? I’m super frustrated. I didn’t find them very helpful. Anybody have suggestions for a different app?

I found the instructions inadequate I would also have to purchase apps to help the translator also The translator is not easy to operate calling for help I’ve already done that and it doesn’t work your left on the line and then when someone does answer , hard to understand would like to return item there is an expense to that as well . Beware buyers I would very much like to return this item if I could actually access assistance to do it I will try calling the number one more time and try to handle agent poor broken English. Just would like my money back, and see if I can get a refund. I strongly recommend not to buy. I believe that from their website to the product in my hand is a scam!!

1/5If you are using this for travel, remember to cancel!!
I downloaded this app while in China and only used it once or twice because it took too long to translate, and, when it did translate, it was inaccurate more often than it was right. I completely forgot about it until my credit card company notified me that my iTunes bill seemed much higher than usual last month. When I checked, I realized that I was being billed $4.99 per WEEK for an app I hardly used. I think I trusted this app because it was very highly rated, but, I’m now wondering if those ratings were either fake, for a previous version of the app, or if they are from users who were translating into or from languages besides Chinese.

          "body": "My wife and I are planning a trip to Türkiye and needed a translation app. Downloaded a bunch of apps and had a native speaker tell us which one she thought was best. She picked Dialog and said the Turkish to English was spot on. English to Turkish was also good but said it used simple words to convey the translation. Not that that is bad because the jest does get conveyed. Another strong point is that it lets you finish your sentence before translating. Other apps cut you off mid sentence. The only negative is the pricing. Seems a bit high to me. Will end up getting a week and then will cancel the subscription.",

          "body": "At the moment I give 0 stars to this app and their company. I paid $99 for the year and it had worked wonderfully for me for quite awhile. I actually paid $99 for a second year. However a month or so after renewing my subscription, it’s not working. I wrote to Maple Media and explained the issue (ad pops up whenever I try to use it again) and they responded with directions that are complicated. I just want to be able to use this app again. What’s going on with it? I’m super frustrated. I didn’t find them very helpful. Anybody have suggestions for a different app?",

          "body": "I found the instructions inadequate I would also have to purchase apps to help the translator also The translator is not easy to operate calling for help I’ve already done that and it doesn’t work your left on the line and then when someone does answer , hard to understand would like to return item there is an expense to that as well . Beware buyers I would very much like to return this item if I could actually access assistance to do it I will try calling the number one more time and try to handle agent poor broken English. Just would like my money back, and see if I can get a refund. I strongly recommend not to buy. I believe that from their website to the product in my hand is a scam!!",

          "body": "I downloaded this app while in China and only used it once or twice because it took too long to translate, and, when it did translate, it was inaccurate more often than it was right. I completely forgot about it until my credit card company notified me that my iTunes bill seemed much higher than usual last month. When I checked, I realized that I was being billed $4.99 per WEEK for an app I hardly used. I think I trusted this app because it was very highly rated, but, I’m now wondering if those ratings were either fake, for a previous version of the app, or if they are from users who were translating into or from languages besides Chinese.",
