I’ve been on social media for nearly half a decade and have amassed over 300k followers and millions of views so I’ve used my fair share of video editing platforms. This one is different. And I like different! It’s super easy to use and the ability to record and edit in the same page is amazing. And it’s just getting started? Yeah…CapCut has some serious competition. Now there was one feature that I didn’t see that I hope can be added. The ability to overlay video & audio on top of one another. And maybe separate audio from video along with that. Just because I personally use that a lot in my editing. Other than that, can’t give it anything less than 5 stars!!!

I downloaded this app because I absolutely loved all the features that social media said it had. One of my favorite features is being able to upload small clips. Combine them all together. Add the captions and have the special effects of the zoom these are very simple things, but it’s hard to find one app where you can do all of these things. I typically use one filter in Snapchat so I’d like to do short three minute clips and then clip them all together. Make it look like one whole video and like that I can use my filter. For this it has been very useful I also have a podcast and I can record myself for this podcast very easily and then edit the podcast. However, the two times that I have had very good interviews with people that have been out of state One in Atlanta and one in Texas I recorded the podcast and the other person’s audio did not get recorded both times. They both downloaded the app. They both had all the features exactly how they should have them. I reached out to detail directly and I received no help. It’s very frustrating because when you are doing a podcast and someone is taking time out of their schedule to interview with you and you don’t have the audio till later on post this you look unprofessional. This has been very frustrating for me and this is why I can only give this app this amount of stars and not a full five. It has a lot of bugs and needs to be fixed if it wants to continue to grow. I really wish that they could fix it because it’s a very easy user-friendly app. Lastly, today, I tried to do this thing where I grabbed all my clips and tried to edit them and again todayit was available and said it needed an update, but there is no update for it again another bug that needs to get fixed.

1/5Detail App- Big Disappointment
I had high expectations for the Detail app, but honestly the exporting times are terrible. It feels like you can’t even get a simple video out without waiting forever. The app does not perform the way it advertises. They promote fast editing, dynamic layouts, easy reactions, and simple exporting — but the reality is the exact opposite. Every time I try to export content, the render either freezes, takes ridiculously long, or fails completely. For a platform that’s supposed to help content creators move quicker, Detail actually slows you down. It kills momentum, wastes time, and throws off your production workflow. I shouldn’t be waiting an hour to export a short video. At this point the app feels more like beta software than a polished finished product. The concept is cool, but the performance is nowhere near reliable enough. Hopefully they fix it, but right now it’s basically unusable for anyone doing fast content.

Finally! Most other apps are a video editor plus AI this feels like an AI that will edit your video. The segments it chooses are almost as good as opus But with the yearly model are far more affordable and it’s easier to access if you’re filming with your phone anyway. it takes hours of work it makes it happen in minutes The segments it chooses aren’t one after the other. It’ll also bounce around in the timeline, which is cool. I like CapCut, but it almost feels like too much Where is detailed does exactly that focuses on what matters It’s intuitive and it takes all of these awesome features that I can do for a video and put them Saving me so much more storage than having a bunch of apps to do all this You can even link your account to your social media And upload from within the app Seriously, this is such a powerful tool for anyone seeking to start their own business I can see myself almost exclusively using this app I can’t wait to see how this app grows. It’s already off to a great start.

5/5I'm Impressed So Far
OK folks like my title says I'm pretty impressed with this software for this app already and I've only used it really maybe twice and I'm really liking the combination of features that you need multiple apps to accomplish all in one place. I'm definitely going to buy the pro version not because I need any of the features in the pro version because I want to support the continuation and improvements that are I'm sure are in the future all the planned upgrades and things like that that I've heard talked about a red talked about in the reviews.I want to see where this will go.

We’re excited to introduce Slides. Recording video presentations or reaction videos, crazy simple! You can now record presentations with images or a PDF as slides behind you, swipe through them while recording, and even go live with your slides. While you record, you create clips in your timeline for each slide – easy to edit. Slides work seamlessly with the teleprompter. You can navigate slides while reading your script, or use simple slide tags like [slide1] to jump to the right slide automatically. Slides can be used in single-source layouts or together with your camera in picture-in-picture layouts. With multiplayer, you can connect two iPhones or iPads, share and control slides on both devices, and record slides as editable clips. Present Slides on your iPad and use your iPhone camera to record high quality video. You can even replace your camera with an image or video, which is great for reaction videos, faceless recordings, or presentations. Slides also work out of the box for live streaming, with high-quality recordings per slide. Reaction videos? You can now record reaction videos with images or screenshots. Need help? Happy new year! We start the new year with some neat new features: external storage support, support for Kick live streaming, and new device shape options in layouts. Live stream to Kick with the new lives-streaming preset. Use an external disk to store your projects and clean up space on your iPhone or iPad. You can also record directly onto a fast external disk. You’ll find this option in Settings / Storage. When you select an iPhone or iPad device shape in the layout menu, you can now enable the shape on both sources in the canvas menu. We've made framing and layouts way more flexible, and added Apple Watch control. Layouts Drag your picture-in-picture (rectangle or circle) anywhere you want in the Layout menu. Pinch to scale it to the perfect size. Framing Double tap any source or use the canvas menu to quickly switch between Scale to Fit and Scale to Fill. The Framing menu now has a tab per source, making it clearer how to frame within each one. Auto Framing is smarter with multiple faces – choose to frame Face 1, Face 2, or everyone. New in this version: Artwork. Build a collage of images, text, and your own drawings. Add your Artwork as an overlay on your video, or use it as a source for a clip. Create a video presentation, design a title screen, build a mockup, or explain an idea with images and text, all in Detail. You'll find Artwork in the Overlays menu. You can now also generate an image with Image Playground and use it as a source in your clip. Describe what you want and drop the result in as b-roll behind you or in a split view. We added Light mode too. Detail now follows your system appearance, or you can pick light or dark yourself in the settings.
