1. 5/5Though 9 News has gone down Hill, they are still The Best

   Honestly, I have an eye for grammar, mainly because I am dyslexic. And when I see it spelt wrong, the wrongs stand out more on screen than when I type or write it out myself! I’ve noticed time and again, over the past 6 years that 9 News puts up stories with errors of Spelling on line, day after day, week after week. Be it on the APP, or on line, or even when watch on 9NEWS or Channel 20, there are spelling errors. Now look, I’ve live in NYC, LA, San Diego, Tampa, Not one of these Media outlets News Stations are even close to how professional, well read, well written, or have the Coalition Building Skills in there Markets at all that the Denver area Market has. NON! Casper Wyoming the Newscasters can’t even read a script without falling over there own words over and over daily, nightly! 9 News KUSA, and there App really is one of the best local and national apps I’ve ever used, the weather app they have, I have setup for places around the world to keep myself updated on my loved ones of storms and the weather where they are. It’s more accurate than my own local station even! I realize over the past 3 years there’s been a lot of change at 9 News, long Are the days of the greats of, Ed Sardella, Mike Landis, Hollow Woodward, Linda benzyl, we lost Adel and Mark, still have Kim and Kathy. Kyle is great, and though he is young, he and Kim have he’d the new team together with Kathy very well! As long as the Management realizes that 9 NEWS was always the Best because of what it gave the people of Colorado, because it was the people of Colorado, and they remember that and keep being a part of the core community, than the app and the station will always have 5 Stars.

2. 5/5Not enough news.

   Too many commercials. Commercials are OLD!!! Not enough news! The app looses signal all of the time and totally turns off, then when you bring it back up you have to watch 3 commercials at least before news comes back on. Then it looses signal again just as the news starts! So you have to start all over!! I can watch CNN all day with minimal commercials and when it looses signal it spins for a few seconds and then comes back on by itself. Back to the news. Again your commercials are old!!! Old! Old!

3. 1/5Stop being political

   Back when I was younger and watching nine news you guys were really good about giving facts and not being opinionated politically you are too politically inclined to the liberal side of things why can’t the news media report facts and stop pulling out two or three words and making it sound like it’s the most horrific thing that ever happened to anybody I have voted both ways In elections because I thought I would vote for the best person what I don’t understand now is why in the world can’t the Liberals except this country chose President Trump and start giving him credit for all the things he has accomplished this garbage that’s reported makes me and I would have to say over 60% of the country angry that the news media cannot report honest News the facts FOXNews seems to be the only station that honestly gives both sides CNN is a trash station 4,7 and nine terrible you just can’t seem to have a newscast any day of the week without downing the president!!!!!

4. 2/5Hit and miss

   I love 9News and I love being able to stream their news live. Problem is, this version of the app will just completely shutdown. Quite often. They also get a red checkmark for the graphic icons such as weather, sports, live news because they are rarely in the same place from day to day. And finally, they lose points for the 9News shorts, PSAs, and promos they play in between segments. While this is a really great idea, an even better idea would be to update the content. Some of the stories and PSAs have been playing for years. Yes, years. They produce so much great content, one would think they would update their app stream one in a while. They are good about changing out station promos. If thy would fix the technical glitches that shut the app down cold, be consistent on graphic placement and update filler content more often, this would be a five star app.

5. 1/5Gave it another try, but NO thanks

   I like the 9News folks in general. But I’ve tried using the 9News app several times on various devices, and I’m thoroughly unimpressed with the lousy performance. It takes an ungodly amount of time to load — since computers became a thing, 2 seconds has been considered the threshold for “unacceptable response time,” and the 9News app is so bad, I’m off making another cup of coffee before it’s usable. I’ve complained to 9News several times over years about this. Then I got myself an iPad with a magnetically attached keyboard, which feels so much like my trusty old computer, that I’m using it for everyday browsing, and I find… the 9News app loads sideways! Unbelievable. Down with the app! Up with the website, which does perform reasonably well. I’m deleting the app off my devices, and replacing it with a Safari bookmark saved to my Home Screen, and we’ll see how that goes…
