5/5Very fun app especially if your ruling planet is the moon
And before you start yes we are all aware that the moon isn’t really a planet. However My zodiac sign is Cancer and it is my ruling heavenly body. Cancers are a cardinal sign. A water sign. The ruling zodiac sign. And if you are really into the moon or affected by the moon or just like to watch the moon this app is tons of fun. I can actually trace how I’m feeling by where the moon is and I have a special connection to water as well so this is a very fun app if you’re really into the moon, but you do have to know what you’re looking at in order to get the most use out of it. People that say they don’t get it or give bad reviews, don’t understand the various cycles, or how to use the app and what it’s showing you. The moon is constantly moving through different signs of the zodiac as it goes around the earth and the earth goes around the sun. Familiarize yourself with the cycles and you will have a lot more fun with this application and you’ll find yourself checking it daily.

...are all that keep this from being my all time perfect moon app. One, it doesn’t howl at the full moon, as another reviewer mentioned. But two, and more telling, it doesn’t have the lunar calendars of different historical, ethnocultural and religious groups available for application, so for example I must do tedious counting from the autumnal equinox to ascertain the Harvest Moon or Hunters Moon. And three, most irritating, it doesn’t offer alternatives to the calendar month for identifying a “Blue Moon”, such as the second full moon in the same zodiac sign or the fourth full moon since the previous solstice or equinox. The latter two are the reasons I cannot rate this app a five-star entry in the App Store. With those two features, this would be incontrovertibly the best moon app I have ever seen. Recent additions, such as the planetary hours, have definitely upped this app’s game. I am more impressed than I was previously, and previously I was quite impressed. But I still need the app to be able to apply different historical, ethnocultural and religious lunar month names and to provide and apply the “Blue Moon” alternatives mentioned above which do not rely upon the common Gregorian calendar to work in order for me to give it five stars. With the addition of those features, there would be nothing else the app needs to be the absolutely all-time best-possible moon app. Currently it remains tantalizingly close but not quite there.

3/5Good App - But not as a monthly subscription
I am a long time user of this app and have purchased the full app + plugins several times, including gifting it to other accounts. I have also recommended this app to quite a few people over the years. I have enjoyed the full app and the paid plug-ins have been a good value. Unfortunately, it now looks as though this app is now moving to a monthly subscription model. While I understand the proposed benefits of this model, I can’t justify another monthly fee, and I cannot recommend other to do so. There are quite a few moon apps out there but, I have always tried to support this one. Unfortunately, if this goes through with the monthly licensing model change, I will probably decide to explore/recommend other options that are more cost effective in the long term (even if it means less features). I understand that the loss of a few customers is inevitable and no big loss compared to the potential revenue of monthly subscriptions. Just thought I would offer my opinion as a long time customer who has purchased the app and add-on’s several times. I would even have considered a lifetime purchase price option. It’s a good app, but I shift to a monthly subscription is just something I can’t justify.

I use this app to plan all my night sky viewing. I can look ahead and plan my nights of Astro photography. I am very happy with this app no surprises having the moon pop out when I need dark sky's I can also plan to shoot the Moon at the phase I want. I have my astronomy nights planned weeks and months in advance. This is a great app and has made my astronomy usage so much easier. I am happy I found this app, I would recommend it to my friends. Update: I am still using this app to plan vacations and get togethers with friends. If it’s going to be a dark night it’s me and my telescope. If it’s a moonlit night time for friends and so easy to schedule my priorities. I find this app my favorite with many extras that also help with planning. Definitely a worthy app in my astronomy collection.

UPDATE: The developer is extremely dishonest! They responded “we see no negative reviews only positive”, which is a complete lie as they are responding negatively to reviews with 1 to 3 stars. Do yourself a favor and sort the reviews by “Most Recent” and you will see many dissatisfied customers whom have purchased this app years ago and the features were taken away just for the developer to extort more money out of the same customers for their money-hungry subscription based model. This is a typical BAIT AND SWITCH! This developer will continue to deceive and defraud people! I’ve had this app for years and have purchased the full version in 2015, but they have moved to a subscription-based module, which I was on the fence about. However, seeing their sarcastic responses to some of the reviewers, I have decided that it’s time to let this one go . Such negative energy! I recommend for people who are considering this app to read the negative reviews and the developer’s responses to them, and then make your decision. Honestly, I would rather pay more for a different app or have several different apps than to knowingly deal with their negative energy.

Firts of all, we returned back iPad landscape mode. Please don't run Deluxe Moon Pro in the landscape mode. It was NOT supposed to run, though it's technically possible now. For iPad please refer to the Deluxe Moon HD. It was designed to run on ipads only, though it's beautiful and vry attractive. Especially on large sceens like 12.9 iPad Pro. Secondary and the most important. We improved integration with Instagrm. New templates were added. Now you can share moon phase caledar, moon calendar, void of course calendar, moon day description and more. The last template reproduces Deluxe Moon Pro for iPhone v. 3.96 Some people say that Deluxe Moon was much more attractive long time ago. Well, now it's possible to share old-fasioned imges of the app. That template support eclipses, images for southern hemishere and Moon Void of Course times Remember! The main menu is scrollable.
