5/5As a soon to be occupational therapist, I love this app
I love that the app itself is informative, inspirational, and customizable. The exercises and programs themselves are incredible! I appreciate the holistic approach that is taken that not only includes the movement of your body but the growth of the mind and soul through other components such as the eating and recipes (though I personally follow keto/low carb) to taking photos of your progress, journaling your feelings, and the motivational messages. As the title says, I’m working on becoming an occupational therapist so I am very pleased with how thoughtful the programs are, especially the bed to chair series. The step by step process and the encouragement to make the DDPY your own through modification helps to meet people where they are at while working within their abilities. Also, the endless customization keeps people motivated and to be okay with whatever level of ability while building upon that to progress further. It’s also okay to stay at a similar level for a long time. I’m fairly able bodied but I’m overweight and overwhelmed with life (grad school is rough) and for nearly a year I’ve only been able to keep up the bed flex, wake up, and energy beginner level routines. I know I’ll get to the more advanced stuff eventually but I feel good with what I can do right now thanks to the continued motivation and support this app and program offers!

5/5In my prime golden years‼️
I’ve joined a few years back, following the DDPY Yoga Because of injuries and shoulder replacement with the bicep tendon tearing off eight weeks after the surgery and it healing that way, I tried Yoga, but I wasn’t able to do any push-ups and such because I hurt so bad my knees are bone against bone I have titanium in the bottom of my left leg that repaired a snapped tibia bone from my left knee and my left foot back in 2023 and there’s a titanium bracket right in my knee joint which is bone against bone I’m bone against bone in my elbows, my wrist carpal tunnel. I have nerve damage from my elbow to my left hand, which everything following Ddp Y now just for last little over a week, I have been exercising up until that point. however, adding the Ddp Y now joining and doing workouts, I can actually extend my body more. I’m more flexible. I have less pain in my knees my elbows my shoulders. I can stretch them all the way across it’s unbelievable and I’m looking forward to how I’m gonna be at the end of this semester. It’s just a start. I wanna thank everyone and encourage everyone because I am 68 1/2 years old and weightlifting and knowledge of it and science of body and nutrition has been part of my life since I was 16 when I recommend something it is because it works‼️ bottom line it works‼️ thank you. Everyone stay with it.‼️

5/5Everything You Will Ever Need
The DDP App is a great accessory to have if you want all the different tools that DDP Yoga has to offer. It might be a little daunting at first given all the stuff that is on there but take your time and browse around. There are a lot more workouts here than you get with the DVDs. There are also inspirational stories to get you through the tougher times. There is the Food channel. A section on progress tracking and so much other stuff. Don’t feel like you are not giving it your maximum effort if you don’t do everything that DDP says. Again, he constantly says, “Make it your own”. Besides, you might go back to some of the parts you omitted after awhile but you shouldn’t force feed yourself parts of the App that you have no interest in at the time. I would suggest picking a workout that you feel you can easily do just to get the confidence. Once you breeze past that, pick something that is just a little more difficult. There are preset programs you can select that will give you a schedule of workouts. The next workout might be a little more challenging and require a little more effort but you will gain strength in order to do the next workout. As long as you stay somewhat consistent, your strength will grow.

5/5So easy a cavemen could do it.
If you are on the fence about trying DDP Yoga, jump in. I waited a few years and wish I had done it sooner. The app is awesome! It lays out the workouts for you and makes it a no brainer. There is all kinds of videos you can watch from workouts, recipes, and inspirational videos. It’s like having your own personal trainer that is at your pace. You can also keep track of your progress on the app and earn points to redeem for stuff. Definitely get a heart monitor that will connect to the app. It will be displayed on the screen as you workout so you know if you are over doing it or need to push it a little harder. I am three weeks in, just started week four today, and I have lost 9 lbs already. I am 52, a disabled veteran, have a screw and wire in my ankle, and arthritis in my back. I haven’t workout since I was in the Army and was pushing over 272 lbs at 6’3”. This is very low impact but gets your heart going and burns calories. I definitely recommend this program and app to anyone who wants to get in better shape but is worried about if they can do it. There is a series for limited mobility that starts off in bed. So if you can’t even get out of bed, you can still work on getting in better shape.

5/5Not your average yoga!
This has been a life changer! I started DDP Yoga in hopes of finding back pain relief. I have Bertolotti Syndrome which is a condition where I have an extra lumbar vertebrae.I was diagnosed last year just before I turned 30 last year after getting X-rays done to try to see why I was all of a sudden having severe lower back pain. It was debilitating and made it hard to be the mother I wanted to be for my kids. I was pretty physically fit from lifting and working regularly but working out became increasingly painful and no amount of rest gave relief. Walking became extremely painful and my physical therapist and chiropractor told me lifting moderate to heavy weight was likely a thing of the past. Hearing that I couldn’t or rather shouldn’t workout the way I loved was extremely upsetting and difficult to accept. It caused me to seek out a new way to workout that was enjoyable (if I don’t enjoy it I won’t stick to it). My brother who has scoliosis told me about DDP and how it changed his life. In the past I hated yoga. Holding positions for long lengths of time was not my idea of fun. I decided to try it though. I signed up for the free 7 day trial and after 1 workout I bought the year membership. When I started I couldn’t even bend over to put shoes on without almost being in tears from the pain. Even putting pants on was painful. Today my pain isn’t completely gone but it’s tolerable and extremely mild in comparison to what it was before starting. I have flexibility like never before and my thighs have never been as firm and tone as they are now! I am forever grateful for what DDP has developed. I’ll be a lifetime user. I encourage everyone to try it for at least 1 month! You won’t regret it!
